"He was on thin ice as it was in my eyes for building what looks to be a fairly average side that has cost a lot of money"

Yep, thin ice. Think I've read we've spent almost £18m and yet we've received almost £36m. Sounds like good business in regards to the finances but have we improved the team? Have we shown ambition? The proof will show in the next 2 or 3 months.
By the end of November we will have a very good idea of how the season will go. Not much changes in terms of positions (albeit you will get an occasional outlier team). So by this time we will know whether we are in the play off zone, mid table or strugglers. We know what the target is. That will be down to Knapper and Manning.

As for Nunez, good riddance to the Judas he is. Whether he has been played or has orchestrated this, it doesn't matter. He will still be putting on a f****** blue shirt. A pathetic thing to see when it happens. And I hope it goes sour for him.

I said to my son the other day, I hope someone tackles him so hard in the derby that they need to identify him using dental records.
Maybe someone from our team doesn't much like him so you never know. I just hope karma comes a calling! What the hell does he think he's doing? He must have made more money already that 99% of the fan base doesn't have.

I don't know what to believe. Apparently there weren't any other offers for him. But it is pretty tone deaf of him if he doesn't realise what moving there would mean to the fans. I mean, anywhere but there.

Take Ipswich out of the equation though and it is actually a very, very good bit of business. Personally I feel it has weakened us, but I didn't see the games where he played this season. A couple of wins and fans will forget all about this. But lose the next few...

There was me thinking thr point of having rich yanks in charge was that we wouldn’t have to keep selling our best players at the first opportunity!
I fail to see what they’ve done for us so far. From what I can gather they’ve loaned the club some money (which they’re charging an obscene amount of interest on) which will turn into shares anyway, and as of yet haven’t actually spent anything, merely flogged all the assets they had left over from the previous regime.

11% I think I read.
Nice return these days.

I
In other news, Adam Idah to Swansea for £7m !
If he can’t cut it in playing for one of the biggest clubs in Scotland where he’s going to be given lots of chances every game to score, I can’t see him doing it for Swansea where he’s going to have much fewer chances per match

The trouble is I hate Knapper just as much for the whole debacle.
I’ve come to accept players being money grabbers, ultimately they’re not fans of the club so they’re going to look out for their own interests, but a SD should know better.
The welfare of the club IS his job, and the harm caused from this transfer is so much greater than a few million quid can fix.

I read his statement to supporters and either he used AI to write it or he doesn't understand the uproar something like this causes. And for just how long it will be remembered. Or the degree of resentment it causes. I can understand it's good money but that's not the whole point.

Maybe it's a combination of his lack of understanding and AI assistance (no mention of the player's name or any specific references just som pure management speak that is as bland and tone deaf as you could possibly read).

For me, all things considered and having had a few days for it to really sink in, they can both f*** off.

Still doesn’t excuse Knapper selling him to the scum in my eyes. That should have been nipped in the bud months ago if this version of events is true, and him told he can go but to find a different club than 1p5hit.
As I’ve said previously, Nunez is a rat but Knapper comes out of this looking just as bad
