The fundamental difference imo morty was incompetent.......... or maybe even morally corrupt officials.
Howson for me. Especially when he moved into a more central role.Oh I forgot to add, I thought Wes was our man of the match.
Going back a bit to the ref, I've just seen this from Martk Halsey:Just watched MOTD. Yes, that refereeing display was awful, but we really, really have to defend a lot better.
Yeah, read this earlier, dunno if it makes me fell better or worse!Going back a bit to the ref, I've just seen this from Martk Halsey:

Good to have an unbiased professional ref's view on Hooper's performance!
I agree. Playing wide right isn't really his game. But that said, and as mentioned above, along with Hoolahan he was still our best player over the course of 90 minutes.not seen the game so unable to comment about motm match but was interesting to see that the times today was critical of the defensive contributions of bj and howson in tracking palaces wide men in particular (bring to attention as it was an unusual level of detail in reports from our matches)
I think we have to learn that Howsons best position is central as a box to box, mainly attacking central midfielder and learn to use his as such. Just because he is the best all round player we have doesnt mean we should try to use that in playing him in an less optimal position, such as as the widest player, it is his natural tendency to come narrower hence the times feedback.
Great find, thanks for sharing. Makes me feel vindicated personally and that its not just sour grapesGoing back a bit to the ref, I've just seen this from Martk Halsey:

Maybe so, but didn't think he done Whittaker too many favours, offered him little cover at times.Either of them could have been MOTM.
But there's not a better all round footballer at the club than Howson.
I didn't see the game so won't comment on the match itself but having seen the controversial moments I feel I can contribute.I've yet to see anyone claim that the ref got that decision right (Jerome's goal),that says a lot.
'LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! 27,000 PEOPLE HERE AND THEY'VE ALL COME TO SEE ME!!!! ME I TELL YOU! ME! ME! ME!'
I agree. It was a problem on both flanks.Maybe so, but didn't think he done Whittaker too many favours, offered him little cover at times.
