All set and ready to go here in Romania....Morty, that sounds like a really dedicated Canary. Look forward to supping a pint with you in January, if you're onshore..So glad the season is starting.,I know that everyone is allowed an opinion, but there's some strange ones in the cyber world. Be good to read the reports etc.again....All you Canaries, have a great season, cheer, laugh, moan, gnash or teeth, enjoy even the bad times, but above all OTBC

Will be so nice to be in a league which has most games available on a stream for us exiles.

I realise that makes me sound like an armchair fan, that's because I am 90% of the time

Im going to stick my neck out. I wont go as far as to predict the score. But I think Jerome will be the headline-maker.

Its all lining up for me - number 9 shirt vacant, so management giving big indications they want to bring in a striker. Jerome will surely start based on his performances last season, so he has a point to prove to his own manager (dont need a new striker - I can do the job),a point to prove in the Premiership, having stepped down a level last season, and a point to prove against his old club.

I think Jerome will be on fire and Im going to predict a brace from him today!  :D

Flew back from Ibiza this morning, and am now on the way back from Gatwick at the moment. Praying there's no major hold-ups, and assuming there's not I should be home about 1. Cannot wait for this, seems to have been ages since the Wembley game, and if we win I think I may just be in the happiest mood of my existance so far.

Team:

Ruddy
Whittaker Martin Bassong Brady
Redmond Howson Tettey Johnson
Hoolahan
Jerome

Subs: Rudd, Wisdom, Odjidja/O'Neil, Dorrans, E.Bennett, Hooper, Grabban.

Can't move that into the middle as I'm on my phone, but that's the team I'd play and the one I think we'll see. Only variation on that would maybe be Toffolo instead of Brady, or perhaps Grabban instead of Jerome.

I'll also stick with my prediction of 2-2. Should be an absolute cracker of a game and I really hope it's one we win, but it's not going to be easy.

Anyone know which pubs around the ground will be showing the early game on BT Sport? I need some football in my system and 3 o clock is too long to wait.

Id go with that same line-up Din. Wisdom will be the interesting one for me though, he will want games and is stronger and faster than Whittaker. I think Alex Neil will start off by keeping faith with the guys from last season, but he might put them under scrutiny quite early. Wouldnt be surprised to see Whittaker start, but be subbed after say 60 minutes, giving Wisdom the opportunity to stake a claim. Think he will go with Brady over Toffolo - think he'll just want an experienced pro in there, regardless of him being out of position

I know Hollywood bowl generally have the games on, not sure if they show bt sport games, but they should have the lunchtime championship game on if they don't show the man Utd game
