Awesome post Crawley Canary, very informative and I have to say I knew very little about Crawley but have had them in a few winning accumilators over last couple of years.

I agree with everyone about the momentum aspect with tonights game so I'm quite flabberghasted at the team selected :s

Three debutantes tonight - Kyle McFadden, Carlo Cuellar and Cameron Jerome. Possibly more from the bench.

Opportunity also for Loza to grab his first Norwich goal?

Thats a decent team Adams has put out, and the right one, in my opinion. When the first team is doing well it makes the fringe players try that bit harder, because they want to be part of it.

Great to see Jerome score!

Sounds as if Cuellar has made a few important tackles, night to hear that Martin is at right back too.

Vicious cross though, Cuellar reacted and just got it wrong.

Feel the defence will be our weakest link this season, Jerome looks good though.

On the grounds that Martin is the captain and a centre back this season and that Cuellar can play right back and may be needed at right back, I would like to see this team start.

                   Rudd

Cuellar Martin Gaifaiti  Whittaker

E. Bennett O'Neill Surman Murphy

               Loza Jerome

The other question is about Becchio and Bassong and whether this could be a shop window for them.   If they feature I believe that would be the reason, but If so I would rather the players who are likely to feature in the championship would start the match.

Not sure how you conclude that LDC, we discussed it in another thread and in fact we stared with Martin at RB on Saturday. I really think NA had seen the light here and in no way will RM be the preferred CH from now on.

Super goal from Murphy, kills off a spirited Crawley and keeps the momentum going.

Full credit to Crawley's spirited performance. A real cup tie, unlike MK Dons' 3-0 stroll against ManUre! Oh dear, Louis!

Delighted with the yoof getting an opportunity. Great that Hall-Johnson and McFadden got their debuts. Thought Hall-Johnson was very good in the youth cup so pleased he got a chance. Why is McFaddens name now double-barrelled?

Josh Murphy deserves to be playing this weekend, at the very least coming on as a sub.
