Finished that post and noticed we've scored and Sunderland now losing - COME ON CITY!!
Nah, not having that I'm afraid. That was a very, very good performance by us. The players look comfortable in the formation, Redmond looks a new player.12 minutes in and its clear to see the set up is wrong this time.
How long until AN realises?
I agree with that, Redmond looks so much better as the right side of the front 3, as opposed to the right side of the midfield 4, its ridiculous how much of a difference pushing him a further 15 yards up the field has madeNah, not having that I'm afraid. Agree with this. And only playing well once the game is lost is, like us again, pointless.Hard to take much cheer from another loss. Losing games where we play well is what is sinking us.
Yeah, I don't know about starting Bamford but the game time he's had so far is ridiculous.I agree with Naismith as a striker option as he, Wes, and Redmond looked to feed off each other against Liverpool.
Though what about giving Bamford a shot? We know the kid has talent as we saw that in the Championship last year. Not sure who you would drop if you are trying to include Wes, Redmond, and Naismith, but I feel like we need to give Bamford more than just 5 minutes at the end of games to rescue points and show what he could do for us.
True starting him might be a little much, but we are basically treating him like Palace did. Our strikers aren't scoring much, let alone the number of missed chances both Mbokani and Jerome have had. Not saying they don't score, just that you would think that if you miss that many wide open goal scoring opportunities that likely could have resulted in points, eventually you will be dropped from the starting 11.Yeah, I don't know about starting Bamford but the game time he's had so far is ridiculous.
