Can’t say I know too much about him. He obviously had a busy season at Plymouth though

I'm not really sure what role he is here for. I think the club has high hopes for Reyes, so not sure if we will start the season with Grimshaw as number one and Reyes as back up, with a view to him taking the number one shirt.

I would be surprised if another goalkeeper doesn't arrive.

They know they can't start the season with Long or Reyes in goal.

So at least with Grimshaw now in the building that doesn't happen.

But yes, I imagine it'll be another 'keeper and Grimshaw. And bye-bye to Long and Reyes in whichever type of deals they can get them out the door with.

It is a hugely tricky position to manage, I thought Reyes looked okay when he played last season, but I didn't get the vibe that he is going to be number one. We seemed to have had a dearth of keepers like this over the years, Declan Rudd being one example.

Didn't we give Long a new contract last year?

I think you're right. My son has told me Grimshaw has been told he is No 2 and we are after a No.1. Will be pleased with that.
Agree also with you Morty about Reyes. I think he was seen as the future but I'm unsure about him. Looked okay but perhaps not commanding. Think it's unfair to judge him also on just a couple of showings.
What a new No 1 and No 2 will mean is that George Long won't be figuring too much ahead. There's rumours he also may be released but don't know how sound those rumours are. Perhaps a loan out for Reyes and / or Long?

Very good Norwich teams of old have always had excellent keepers. I'm looking forward to seeing who becomes our new No.1.

Long could stay as number 3 which must be like winning the lottery. You still get paid but never have to do anything like Scott Carson who has just left Man City!

My mate supports Cambridge and he wasn’t sad to see the back of Reyes, which doesnt fill me with confidence he’d make the step up. The few times I saw him I didn’t think he was anything special either, although it was tricky for keepers this season with our suicidal tactics gifting the opposition numerous clear cut chances every week
