Just noticed that 4 out of 5 of Derby's next games are on Sky. Which makes 5 out of 6 if you include last Saturday's.

That's a lot of eggs in one basket. Have Sky decided Derby will get an automatic and are getting their customers familiar with them for a premiership campaign?

At the beginning of the year Derby looked likely to be the stand out team and the football they play is easy on the eye so I guess Sky took a punt they would be in the mix and entertaining. Also they have a high profile manager which never hurts when getting picked for a live game - just look at how often 'Arry's teams were picked.

Anyone coming down/in Derby area who hasn't got a ticket yet? I have one currently going to waste as my Dad is unable to make it, and he's only just told me. I would much rather it got used than was a complete waste so I'm quite happy to do a deal and put the nominal price of a pint on it.

Very good of you KIO, but it's a bit late for me to start from Cornwall now! (Sorry, can't do smileys on my tablet!).

City Line-up is:

Ruddy

Whittaker, Martin, Cuellar, Olsson

Tettey, O'Neil

Howson, Johnson

Jerome, Hooper

No change to the winning team then.

Really thought we'd need Redmond's pace today with Derby's possession based style.

I'm a little worried.

I think we'll see Redmond and Wes running at them in the second half, Keiran. The bench just shows how strong our squad is.

Derby County ‏Team: Grant; Christie, Keogh, Shotton, Forsyth; Mascarell, Hendrick, Bryson; Ibe, Russell, Martin

Looks like their usual 4-3-3

Well I can see what we are trying to do. It's clear that we are going to just try and contain Derby for the first 45/60 minutes, and hope that they don't score, and then in the 2nd half we can bring on the likes of Redmond and Wes to give us a massive attacking edge particularly on the counter attack. However, there is one fundamental flaw with this sort of system, which was proven many many times under Hughton, which is that the opposition inevitably do score and the impetus is then with us to go and get a goal, and whist we're trying they hit us on the counter and make it 2. Which is exactly what I think will happen today.

It's hard to see what more Nathan Redmond can do to get a start. He comes off the bench at half time, and just the fact that the change in formation because of his appearance gives us more width and it instantly pays off. He also then goes and gets a goal for the first time in about 18 months, and is then named Man of the Match after the game. I have to say I am pretty disappointed with this selection, which I imagine a lot of Norwich fans are.

If it works then fair play to Adams, but the fact is in the last 2 games we've used it although we have looked a little bit more solid defensively, the first game was a team in 23rd in the table, clearly low on confidence, and even then they managed to get in behind us now and then. Against a better team we would've lost, and Derby are a considerably better team. Against Huddersfield at home, they were down to 10 men and yet they still caused us one or two problems on the counter attack, and actually were probably the better team up until the sending off.

I think that we must select Hooper. He has missed one or two recently, but he has made goals for others.

My temptation would be to take the same side, to establish ourselves and prevent Derby scoring early and have us chasing the game. I am encouraged by the defence and, while I think that Bennett could be our best CB, he will be on the bench, perhaps coming on later, but much will depend on how much his midweek game took out of him.

I am not sure about Wes or Redders. They both create plenty of chances, but they reduce the effectiveness of the midfield four. They could come on later, or if we have to chase the game.

At the moment I would take 1-1, but I think that we have to play well to achieve even this, given Derby's record at home.

I'm already concerned about the officials

Got two 'yellows' wrong (Johnson and Cuellar)

Missed a dive, lino got offside wrong

We're playing well though

Chris Martin just had his first touch?

Wes perhaps isnt fit enough yet for 90 minutes. Although both he and Redmond made a big impact last week, think the current team selection is probably the right call. Tough to break down playing away against one of the top teams, probably the right call tactically. Hopefully both Redmond and Wes can come on and make an impact when the game is more stretched (if we're not behind).

Starting either Wes or Redmond in this particular game, despite their performances probably a bit tactically naive, though can understand if Redmond feels frustrated. Players need to understand their selection may be tactical rather than personal a lot of the time

Yeah defensively we're doing well so far. Ibe looks a real threat though who has Whittaker every time. We're keeping the brilliantly though when we get it though and really frustrating them.

Tough to take, but that probably is the right decision. Blocking the keepers view or at least influencing him in an offside position. Harsh on Tettey though
