A bit silly on both counts really. And the substitution made perfect sense.

I think people had already decided before they went to the game that they were going to have a grumble about something.

I didn't agree with the 'you don't know what you're doing' chants but to be honest I did sort of get the 'sack the board'. I didn't participate myself however I don't think the fans that did were genuinely singing it to try and get the board to leave. I think it was simply an expression of how unhappy the vast majority of us are with how the board have acted this season. Most of us had wanted Alex Neil gone for months but to actually get rid of him hours after a press conference where he outlined his plans for the future with this club was out of order and disrespectful and I think a lot of supporters recognised that, on top of the fact that we had all been saying that he should go since early December and yet the board didn't choose to act until 4 months later when our season is effectively over and I can see why a lot of our fans would be disgruntled enough to chant 'sack the board'.

The board just need to get this next Chief Exec appointment right, and then delegate enough power to that Chief Executive for them to make some sort of impact. Just felt like Moxey was happy being a yes man for his pay cheque, we need somebody who is going to stand up to this board and assert influence like McNally did.

Can't they just ask Martin O'Neil to suggest somebody? He recommended McNally, and didn't he recommend Lambert to McNally too?

Clearly Sir Alex isn't as good as picking non-playing staff as he was playing staff, because he shafted United with Moyes and us with Alex Neil.

I bet Delia is asking Hodgson who to appoint and we'll end up with Gareth f*cking Southgate or something
