Well I don't know what to do. My stomach doesn't know what's just happened. Amazing scenes at the end which I guess is the main thing.
Overall our performance was poor. Farke's team selection didn't pay off as we struggled to do anything really, and despite not really being under much pressure first half it wasn't overly surprising when we fell behind. A shame as well as just before that Krul made a superb save. The subs made a big difference and we got ourselves back in the game with a great move and brilliant finish by Onel. Should've scored again about a minute later and had he done so I would've blacked out and missed the end of the game. Then we concede another very poor goal. Problem was the formation was wrong to start with, so then when we went behind we had to react and go more attacking, so even when we scored because we'd made all 3 subs we were stuck on an attacking formation, with McLean at left back and one defensive midfielder, hence why it was so easy for Birmingham to break us down right at the end. Rather than being active and on the front foot we were constantly just reacting, which is the reason we went behind twice. There are a lot of lessons to be learnt and things that need to be improved following this game, but to be fair I don't even care at this moment. Absolutely buzzing at the ending of that game. I hate and love football.
Marshall and Krul both very good. McLean as well when he came on. Pukki showed some good moments and once the subs came on Hernandez came alive. The rest there's not a lot to say. Hanley had a bit of a mare.
