What the hell is up with the pinkun forum?

Pretty obvious they don't give a shit.

It isn't owned by a local company and hasn't been for many a year. They really have no interest in anything that doesn't make them money.

Only way they could save face here is if, upon its return, it looks a bit more sparkly and they upgrade the software etc, maybe bring back the non-football section, Connor could argue that he'd fought hard for improvements or something and that caused the delay. Because it took most businesses 24-48 hours to patch sites and get them back online.

Its a shame its taking so long. Im not so sure how many will rush back, especially if the old outdated style of it remains. I for one think this is a much better forum, it just needs to user base of the pinkun

Pink'un does have a big user base but 99% of the posts are still from a dozen or so people, many of whom seem to hate each other.

I have tbh....this forum seems way smoother and better overall already haha. There were just so many posters on Pink'un who loved to troll other posters for no reason, bashed the players and team for the most ridiculous reasons, etc.

If it does come back up, cool. But I am staying right here and hopefully more people migrate over here if you will.

There are people on the pinkun that don't want to come her, mainly because of me. I was part of the forum for many years, and got bored of the endless, petty, running feuds. A few have come here over the years and tried to just carry them on here and I told them to stop it. It is nice to see more people here, but there are a group of pinkun posters that wouldn't be seen dead here

Most other clubs our size have 2 or 3 active forums and its weird that we don't tbh.

So doesn't even need to be a Norwich Talk vs OTBC thing.

I suppose there is Wrath of the Barclay, I've just never been able to get to grips with those old 90s style threads it confuses the f-ck out of me.

I have spoken to a few people who use / used WOTB and they said it is ridiculously cliquey, much like the pinkun. Yeah it looks very dated.

I fully expect a lot to go back to the pinkun, if it ever gets fixed, and that is fine, I am happy with what Norwichtalk is.
