As posted on what positions do we need, was at the norwich hotel with Cuellar and it's seems he could be on his way. Young lady season ticket holder works at the hotel and served them both, nice person and has no reason to lie....watch this space

I'd be amazed but truly delighted if we did sign Scott Sinclair.

Agreed. Would be a massive surprise if we managed this but would love it. He is superb at this level.

Would love it! As if we weren't sweaty enough on next years FIFA! Scott Sinclair as well would be class and one to play on the left potentially (irl).

No way would Scott Sinclair drop down to the Championship now.

Rumours seem to suggest that Newcastle and Sunderland are both interested, so if he is going to drop down, I have to imagine it will be if no permanent deal can be made and it's on the eve of the window closing.

Only passing on what i was told and it might turn out to be totally bull, but as i said she is nice young lady and  would have no reason to lie. Hasn't Sinclair had some kind of injury as well recently and perhaps the reason a drop down a league would be very useful would be to get back into top shape again?

Could be. Was thinking a couple of days ago that there hadn't been many 'sightings' this window!

Illness rather than injury I think, something to do with blood clots if my memory serves me correctly.

Would be a brilliant signing if he's fit.

Would make sense after missing out on Calum Wilson, very similar style of player and would add needed competition to the left wing. Lafferty has been doing a good job there, great in fact, but you'd still rather him being on the end of crosses than supplying them.

Do you think there's a realistic chance of him coming to the Championship, Bethnal? Would've thought that a player of his calibre would attract top-flight interest. Would be something of a coup if we could pull it off!

Can't see it happening myself, especially as Pardew is said to be a huge fan, and Hull were linked even before Snodgrass got his long lay off... but his West Brom loan didn't go fantastically, so perhaps he really does just want football, like Huckerby in 2003.

Would have thought wages would be an issue though, even if Sinclair did want to come here, how would Man City feel about us paying perhaps 30% of his wages if there is a Premier League team willing to pay say 60%/70%? I know they are rich, but they probably aren't stupid and they have FFP to contend with.

I would be hugely surprised but massively impressed if this turns out to be true. The calibre of player that could really take us to the top of the league and keep is there.
