That's probably fair BB.
Maybe I was just watching him more closely yesterday for all the obvious reasons!

I was actually thinking this earlier, if Leroy Fer is prepared to stay then selling him for £8m would be senseless. If Leroy hasn't asked for the move, then selling him shows a complete lack of ambition and commitment by our board in my opinion.
I consider Fer to be a complete midfielder because there isnt really anything he cant do. Look at our other midfielders over the years. Fox - couldnt tackle, Wes - cant defend or shoot, BJ and Tettey - Cant pass or create, Surman - No strength.I'm sorry rare brand of complete midfielder. Did you watch him last season. That is utter utter rubbish. He was crap last season after September.
And yes he scored a goal at the World Cup. He played bloody 10 minutes the whole tournament.
James Rodriguez is a complete midfielder Gareth bale is a complete midfielder ronaldo is a compete midfielder.
Leroy Fer is a bottom half prem midfielder at the very best. If he was compete the Real Madrid or Barcelona or a top 6 prem team would be paying 20 million
Utter utter rubbish and I'm being polite because I like this forum but I'm nearing getting a warning post with some of the tripe people talk
I personally think it's worth the gamble. If in January we are nowhere near then fair enough, let him go but I think he could be the catalyst to us running away with promotion. What do we lose for keeping him until January? Nothing as his value will stay more or less the same. What could we gain? Potentially £100m if he is the difference between 3rd and 2nd come May.Whatever happens Leroy won't be here come the end of the window. He's just too good for the Championship, and if he stayed with us even until January I would be both shocked and overjoyed!
Well you obviously didn't see the game Saturday, Johnson was pinging the ball around like Messi.I consider Fer to be a complete midfielder because there isnt really anything he cant do. Iv said many times we have had midfielders with singular strengths and we've needed to play them all to get all the components on the pitch. Fer is rare in that he doesnt need to give it to another player to cover for a weakness in his game. He can pass, tackle shoot and create.
I agree that I was disappointed with what he achieved last year, but I felt that way about all of them. In terms of ability, I feel Fer is head anc shoulders above all our other midfielders. Just my opinion
Ha ha, ok, like you lot see him as a brilliant player worth £20mThe stats say we were better with Leroy in the team. His effort and body language were not awful at all, you saw that because you wanted to see it.
That's taking it to extremes, nobody is claiming he's a £20m player. I think we'd be better keeping him here until January at least. I really hope he starts tomorrow so we can see for real how good he'd be at this level.Ha ha, ok, like you lot see him as a brilliant player worth £20m
He is Dickson Etuhu the second.
Johnson had a good game on Saturday, but was still the 3rd worse passer in the team.Well you obviously didn't see the game Saturday, Johnson was pinging the ball around like Messi.
Fer is weak, he couldn't hack the pace of a Premeirship season, Johnson and Tettey did ok in the Prem.
And yeah 3 goals and 2 assist is wonderful for someone who can shoot and create.
Also his effort and body language were awful, when we were struggling his head dropped and he was like a lost sheep, unlike Johnson and Tettey who always get stuck in.
The stats totally undermine your statement
