OK let's stick with Russell Martin at CB, not sign any and not play CBs like Turner and Bennett who have played there all their careers.

Let's play Whittaker at RB as he is our best option there.

And we wonder why we are inconsistent and ship awful goals? I'm simple when it comes to football. You play your best team consistently every game bar, selecting players in the positions they are best at bar injuries . None of this modern rotational crap or playing RBs at CB and so on. It's no wonder we are so inconsistent.

We have been talking about players we currently have, not speculating on who we might buy. That's your opinion but can you honestly tell me you think Turner is a better CB than Martin? And for all the hope that surrounded Bennett when we bought him, can you honestly say you will get a prolonged run in the side out of him?

Well I think he was by far our best centre back in the Premier League last season. He's been rubbish this season, but he's been forced to play on the left side to accommodate Martin and actually I think that Turner-Martin pairing is our weakest. I hope to see a Turner-Bassong partnership given a go again.

Yeah I hope to see Turner - Bassong soon. However, Martin - Bassong seemed to work very well against Birmingham, so I see no real reason to change it.

Yes IMO, I think Turner is a better CB than Martin. He does OK there as a fill in if needed. Also rate Ryan Bennet better there than Martin but you have a point about whether he will get a run in the team. If he ain't good enough get rid.

The transfer window has panned out as I expected. Very little apart from a signing from Hamilton. That said Andreu may work out so will see how that pans out especially the step up from Scottish pub league to the Championship. Dorrans is OK I suppose. Not really where we have problems though. The lad from Cardiff was worth persuing possibly. You must query why they did not do this if Dorrans is coming on loan. So keep Olssen, pay money for Hoone and get Dorrans on loan anyway?

Total rebuild needed in the summer. If we did by some miracle get up this season , the entire squad needs more or less complete overall as it will just not be good enough. If we ( more likely) stay in the Championship, we need to get rid of those with a relegation mind set, or have been around since league one to have a decent, fresh start campaign.

I was hoping that the loaning out of the younger lads was in preparation for next season. We have, and I doubt apart from a serious felony that it will change, a new management team who it appears have been told a play off spot would be acceptable. So the target set for Adams has been changed. And that's fair if they are expecting great things from AN in the future.

I would expect Andreu to be a straight replacement for Wes. And that may mean the start of the Changing of the Guard at Carrow Road.

Yes agree, I think it could be that Wes will be on his way. Be interesting how he will work out. Be interesting also what Howsons position is?
