#NCFC team v @BlackpoolFC: Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin ©, Bassong, Olsson; Howson, Johnson; Redmond, Hooper, Hoolahan; Grabban.
Neil's certainly got that Lambert thing down of picking teams that make you go "whats going on there then?".

Is he going to be another manager trying to get blood from the Hoolahan on the wing stone? or a diamond?

I'm not the biggest Howson fan. I think he ought to be doing more than he does. I don't think he backs his ability enough. I know many like him but I do wonder why BJ gets so much stick yet he outscores and outshoots Howson game after game.

Maybe Andreu is going to get his chance in the second half. I would like to see if the videos we have seen of him are good because of the standard he was playing.

Doesnt automatically reveal the formation does it?

Two strikers, two attacking midfielders, defensive midfielder and a winger.

Square pegs in round holes

Jerome on the bench again. Would you risk someone with an injury? I doubt it. To me that seems our leading scorer isn't particularly fancied by AN. Delighted to be proved wrong.

Canaryworld are saying that Hoolahan is playing on the left.

Formation seems to be a 4-2-3-1 with Grabban up front, Hooper behind, and Hoolahan and Redmond flanking Hooper.

Grabban must be getting pretty uptight at the moment. Misses one sitter, one good chance and offside in a good position. Apparently Jerome hasn't trained this week and so on the bench.

Depends on the extent of the injury. Playing 15/20mins is very different to playing for 90. I'm pretty confident you are wrong.

Neil said that Jerome hadn't trained all week and was doubtful for that reason. Be stupid to risk Jerome's hamstring today.

The fact that he is on the bench with a possible hamstring problem shows we are short of strikers.

If only we had another striker so we didn't have to risk a player with an injury. You know, someone perhaps 6'4", international...

I notice Blackpool have a Miles Boney on the bench.

Would his school register say Boney M?
