It's ok, just read about it on the pinky, hogesars post tells the whole story
Basic gist is that City Elite want people to give up season tickets they have had in that block for many years, so their mates can move in there. Season ticket holders have told them to get bent, and rightly so. I think City Elite were under the impression that the club were somehow going to sort this for them. What is likley closer to the truth is that the club has said they will help where they can, but I doubt they ever promised to move ST holders.

Unfortunately another case of some supporters thinking they are more important than others...

Yeah I think what I posted above likley sums matters up.

I would assume the club never promised to move existing season ticket holders.

And thinking they can somehow hold the club to ransom over this is extremely naive. A lot of these lads think they are in Green street, and have caused a bit of trouble in the past.

A very disappointing game (I’m away so only saw the highlights thankfully)
I’m not going to call for Thurops head as I think you should always give managers 3-4 transfer windows to build their squad (unless you’re in danger of going down) but to me Thorup seems rather one dimensional as a manager. He appears to have one rigid way of playing that never changes, rather than reacting to what is happening on the pitch.
Farke was the same in that respect, you knew before the game started what substitutions he would make almost to the minute he would make them, which was fine as we had Buendia Pukki and one of the strongest first XI in the league so he didn’t often need to change it too much, although this may explain why he was so poor in the top flight with us (and in the 2nd tier when Buendia wasn’t available). Worthy and Lambert on the other hand were much better in my opinion at actually reading the game and making changes required. Thats probably the difference between a coach and a manager.
I’m also concerned that our best players seem to have been signed before Knapper entered the building, which doesn’t fill me with confidence going forward. Hopefully some of them come good next season.

Well, I screwed up, didn't see anything. Thought the game was today. so happily watched the scousers and PSG on the telly box. one hour ago, fired up the puta, ready for team news and game, fawa news on the go, only to find that I was out of it. read some reports, yours made it clear for me Morty. What on earth happened. 2.0 up at half time, at home, then lost it 2.3. Problems are where, Coach, Tactics, Players or all three ?

Nothing's changed in my expectations for the season overall (12th to 16th before we kicked a ball) though I must admit to getting hopeful on more than one occasion in these last few months. I'm also unsure of Thorup but like what he says (perhaps more than how I see him managing a match - in the 90 minutes I mean). I like the new players Dobbin & Crnac (can see an upside next season if we do sign the former) and I think Wright looks decent on the brief showings. A few younger players will be more game hardened too. We also seem to have 'some' money, which no doubt will be boosted by the inevitable sales of Sainz and Sargent. No idea about McConville yet. Jurasek likewise but a brief glimpse of him.

Loads of talk about how soft we are on Pinkun. Agree about that. This isn't like the days of having Holty in the team. Or having a Bruce or even a Malky. All proper fighters.

We need to start well next season. These last few games have been dispiriting. Yet I look at Blackburn, Swansea, Watford and they all slip up regularly too. Frustrating season where we look so good for parts and so pathetic in others.

I agree, it’s a young team so inconsistency is to be expected to some extent, and like you o didn’t think we’d make the play offs (I thought around 8th-10th) but I wasn’t expecting to be so inflexible during a game. I appreciate that he’s trying to implement a “style” (urgh) but to me there also has to be a match awareness to the play. Tapping around with it at the back while we’re losing is infuriating to watch, and maybe I’m showing my age but I see nothing wrong with getting the ball quickly up to the big man in the last 10 minutes if you’re chasing a game.
I’m not sure having a squad of players who can only play one rigid style of football without the ability to adapt to different situations or the oppositions tactics is a viable long term plan. It was always my main gripe with Farke (even though he did fantastically well for us) was that when it worked it was terrific, when it wasn’t he was never great at mixing it up. Ive no idea if he’s improved with that at Leeds, I suppose the big test will be when they go from having the strongest squad to one if the weakest next season

I have been going since the early 90's (Bit on and off as I lived in Germany for 3 years. I'm sure most have been going even longer than I have. I have suffered the disappointments, the heartbreak, the exasperation. I guess I have enjoyed the years where we have been dominant in this league, where it felt like we could beat anyone, we always had something special up our sleeves that would get fans off their seats.

But to go from feeling on top of the world at half time to their fans laughing at us 45 minutes later really stung.

Wankers.

And then imagine getting a letter from the club telling you to move your seat so they can accommodate the “elite” fans
