Insert lame "There could well be fireworks here" joke here.

Not even a relegation 6 pointer, it is bigger than that. This game is absolutely massive for both clubs for different reasons, but also the same.

Which Norwich City will turn up, the one we saw in the first half on Saturday, or the one we saw in the second?

Another last chance for the manager?

I'm starting to feel that even if we lose they won't get rid of him

Nah, don't see that FF. I think he will be sacked the next day of that happens. But, I get your worry.
Anyway, I've been about 75% wrong in all my predictions this season but I think we will win. The pre match Sheff Wednesday talk is one of unity, collective purpose and fight. Not great for us at the moment. Yet I wonder if we score early and even get a couple then we can go ahead and get a desperate win.

Much talk about sacking Manning. Why not just put him on gardening leave and pay him each month? Surely this would then give the club a chance to get a caretaker manager in? Could manning complain if he still gets his wages?

He would be on gardening leave for a long time as he won't get another job easily.
I am worried that if we win he might be kept on!

Not really sure what to say about that.

We looked better after the subs.

But I'm not sure what more we can change, other than the obvious thing.

I thought that was generally what happened with sacked managers? Rather than get the entirety of their contract as a lump sum they just keep getting paid until they take another job?

Still outplayed for 3/4 of the match by the team thats bottom of the league that can barely pay their players.
This season has relegation written all over it

It's got to the point now that there is less and less to say unfortunately. I 'enjoyed' the match more than others because of mainly what was at stake if you know what I mean. Both teams were trying for 90 minutes and got a goal each. Relegation feels odds on.
The pre season optimism left weeks ago. A draw does little to change anything.

Morty, I will try to help you there with what to say - Passing ? - Awful. The number of times the ball was passed either to a blue shirt or straight out for a throw was incompetent. Tackling? - non-existent. SW got numbers around the ball and and nullified possession.Closing down the man with the ball? - optional - see the goal after 4 minutes. Defenders are devoid of pace? - Opponents just run away from them.Goalkeeper? A good shot-stopper , but a liability with the ball at his feet. Finishing? Either too slow by a couple of yards , or wild lashes at the ball. Other than all of that there was nothing to complain about. Irony, Baldric?

Starting to feel a bit sorry for Liam.

He must be wondering what more he's got to do to get his pay off.

Especially with all the Black Friday deals coming up.
