Hopefully we'll see the team that finished the game, and not the one that started it...

Sargent and Dimi are both unavailable for tomorrow. Smith is hopeful that both will be available for Rotherham.

DS on Kenny McLean’s return: "It’s good to have Kenny back. Three games in a week was tough for Isaac Hayden."

DS reflection on Stoke: "I thought we won the ball back really well, so our pressing structure was good. We were really good in the last 20 minutes. I was gutted that Jordan Hugill didn’t get his goal."

DS on Stoke: "I thought we won the ball back really well, our pressing structure was good but we didn't connect the passes well, often times trying the killer pass. Sometimes if it's not on, we need to connect it a little bit better."

DS on QPR: "They’ve made a good start. They are having a good season so far. Shakey went to watch them at Luton and we both watched them against Birmingham on Friday night. They’ve got players who can hurt teams."

DS on Bali Mumba’s goal last night: "I did see it yeah. I also saw their first goal as well where he got caught out. He scored a really good goal and his celebrations are getting better."

DS on Mumba: "He's benefitted from playing games. He's gone to a team that are top of the league and he's been a big part of that."

DS on Springett, Rowe etc: "Yeah. We will have a look at our squad in January and see if it’s best for their development to sanction loan moves."

Dean Smith says a Rashica permanent move is "nothing we're looking to do."

DS: "Adam Idah should be back after the World Cup break and a plethora of left-backs too."

DS on Todd Cantwell: "I saw a bit of anger in his performance. He wanted to show what he was about. He was unlucky not to have an assist. That’s what we want from him.”

DS on Max Aarons: "He was fit to play against Stoke. It was purely selection based. He hasn’t been at the peak of his form, but he’ll work hard to get that back."

Is Max still seen as a young player? DS: "Yeah, I believe you can. He’s still only 22 years old. He hasn’t experienced lots in his career yet."

Asked #NCFC DS about Cantwell, Pukki, McLean et al group out of contract end of season. 'No on going talks, but not worried about distractions in Jan (talking to overseas clubs potentially). If they are chasing a contract here or elsewhere, no bad thing for performance levels.'

Hopefully :)

I bet he'll have a good game, too.
Would you really bet money on him having a good game?
He'll be giving Hayden a rest so we're looking for breaking up the opposition attacks and not giving the ball away for him to have a good game.
I'd put all your money on that....

Opinion is subjective. People like to hate on Kenny, but here he is, still getting picked by a different manager.

He does a lot of the shit work that other players don't. Like a Gary Holt, you need a player like that in your team.

Gary Three Lungs Holt, you can't put him in the same sentence as McLean.

I've not watched QPR, Smith's already hinted at Kenny in to give Isaac a rest, are we keeping the rest of the team as was?

McLean is what the French call 'the water carrier' ... he does a lot of the shit work that goes unnoticed. That is true, his positional play is good and he does break up opposition attacks ... but he undoes that too often by getting the ball and then giving it away. I liked him at left-back.

Firstly, Kenny was fantastic when he came on ;)

Better overall game than Saturday? Maybe. Lots of good things in there, with, at the same time lacking that real cutting edge in front of goal. Gunn made some fantastic saves, as did their keeper, so you have to say, if you take your yellow glasses off, a draw isn't unfair.

Hayden looked almost dead by the end of the game, and still looks a bit off the pace, the timing of some of his tackles leaves a bit to be desired. Angus Gunn, outstanding, no way Krul is getting his place back. I love Sam Mcallum, and would wager he is our best left back, Giannoulis back in training tomorrow though., as well as The Sarge. Possibly my man of the match though was Cantwell, absolutely brilliant, carrying on from a good performance on Saturday, you would think he was out of contract at the end of the season or something...

I thought we played well last night. Onel not on his game. Gunn is a great keeper. Krul can move on now. McCullum got caught out a lot and Cantwell saved his butt a couple of times. Cantwell and Gunn my players of the match. It's getting there. A work in progress. Almost snatched it at the end with Hanley. Good result.

Couldn't get there last night so had to spend more time on the sofa with Goreham. Did sound like a much better performance and it was good that our youngsters are playing well. Sounded like a draw was fair but what a shame Hanley's shot hit the post.

I see the referee left the carpark with his QPR football shirt on. Lolo.
