That is the thing about it. We had three central defenders on and none of them are really in the trenches players. They're not guys that dominate everything, make big wins and throw themselves infront of things.

And by making that change you're making it clear you are not going to hurt Newcastle anymore and are encouraging them to batter you.

More than anything the three cbs dont have the organisational nouse to structure themselves into a position to stop danger - we are so in need of an organiser and leader;  and at least Klose, while not being at his best,  does consistently get his head to and clear the ball more often than the others.

Devasting manner of the defeat and even a point would have been a statement.  but worst fixture out of the way, as I said pre match we ARE on track and promotion will be won at other places than SJP.   Really is no need for the doom and gloom.

How we bounce back on sat is the key.

Didn't watch or listen to the game so not going to comment too much, but all I'll say is to be 3-2 up in the 94th minute and to go on to lose is f*cking disgraceful.

It is sad to lose a lead with 2 minutes left. It is down right pathetic to lose in that same time frame.  I wasn't able to watch, but from the commentary I saw it seemed like the defense was in shambles and giving the ball away every chance they got.

I am honestly stunned that Martin and Bassong are being chosen over Bennett.  Sure Klose was out and that certainly hurt, but if you have watched even 5 minutes of any match with Martin and Bassong as the two CB you would know that neither has a commanding presence about them.  Bennett to me has proven he has at least earned a chance to start even when Klose isn't playing.  And the Bennett - Klose CB partnership seems to have been the most effective back pairing Norwich have seen in a while.

Regardless of all that, Norwich need to pick themselves back up quickly.  Losing like that can create a ton of blame that tears apart a team and leads to a downward spiral.

This game just underlines for me all the reasons why I genuinely do not believe that AN is the guy.

Poor substitutions following poor organisation papered over for a time with decent individual performances underpinned by a lack of tactical awareness from someone who doesn't know his best 11 even now.
