I didn't look at Twitter but I can't blame fans for being critical of someone who put in yet another poor performance when we know he has more in his locker. He saw a lot of the ball but couldn't keep hold of it. It also doesn't stop anyone from enjoying the win, if anything it was more remarkable that we won with a CF playing so poorly.

I too can understand why there were negative comments about Olivera even though we won.....why?......because he was shocking, and for the most part over the last however many matches has been terrible and of little use to the team, sad to say about a player I and many I'm sure thought was starting to look the part....anyway enough about Nelson.....
I have to agree with Morty about both Maddison and Lewis, Maddison is an absolute class act, and its right to compare him with Beckham at an early age, and Lewis......wow what a player, made an underperforming Pinto on the other side look very average...both will be big big players probably at another club unfortunately. As will Pritchard no doubt, who when considering he has come back in off such a long layof has been terrific......and a mention for Josh too, who was having a really bad patch, if he continues to find form like yesterday, then he too has every chance of following his brother to a Premier League club, but does need to do it more often clearly. That's four terrific youngsters now in our first team, plus a few others playing elsewhere doing well too, which is a real plus from a season that so far has been a major let down to say the least...............I still believe that even with the departures our squad should have been good enough to be in or around the play-off's ..

He was part of a winning team, he may not have scored, but he worked hard, which is something he has been criticised for. And he really wasn't that awful, and I suspect more than a few have their mind made up about him before he even kicks a ball. Pinto wasn't up to his usual standards last night (and hasn't been for a few games) but no one is caning him?

Pinto has been poor the past couple of games which i've said elsewhere.
But to say Oliviera wasn't poor would be lying. He had a pretty good game against Wednesday despite the missed chances; which I tongue-in-cheek pointed at the fact we were on sky. He's not played well since.
I'd be surprised if anyone has made their mind up about him considering the fact he was so good last season and generally a fan favourite. If you've gone from that to constant criticism there's usually a reason.
Unfortunately for us Jerome has had a poor season too and we made the decision not to sign another striker so we're having to play him and just hope he finds form, or someone buys him. At the moment I don't see anyone wanting to splash the cash when he's not scoring, not hitting the target, not holding the ball up, giving the ball away, and not winning his fair share in the air.

He really wasn't terrible last night. But it was part of my bigger point about people that can't just enjoy the win. The very last thing in my mind when we win is trying to find something negative about it.
And I'm not lying to prove some kind of point, I would describe him as "average" last night, but taken in the context of the fact that we gained a much needed win, it really, really doesn't matter.

Like I said, not seen Twitter so can't really say what others are like, but everyone around me at the ground seemed to enjoy the win. But we were also able to discuss the fact that Oliveira was terrible. And unfortunately, it really does matter, because without a striker in form we are going to struggle, particularly with the tough run of fixtures coming up.

Feel sorry for Pinto. Working very hard and clearly takes captain responsibility seriously. But he is playing that whole right side by himself. His quality has suffered a little I think due to a lack of support. He doesn't really have a partnership.

It's an unbalanced team.
Having Maddison and Pritch in the same team doesn't seem quite right to me.
But it's unlikely to be an issue beyond this season.

The one thing that I found funny was after the game I had a quick flick through the match thread on the other forum, and there was a guy after the game slating Farke for his substitutions and not being trying to change the system at 1-1. Reading his post you'd never have now we won 2-1! Farke clearly didn't need to change the system at 1-1 because we won the game. Why some 'fans' are so determined to focus on the negatives regardless of the result really baffles me.

I have seen so many today begrudgingly giving credit for winning, I really don't get it. I am also pretty sure there a few at Carrow road want us to lose so they can start their "Delia out" chants too. I really don't understand folk who can't enjoy their team winning, makes you wonder why they go.

The other thing is if it is Delia out then it just means nephew Tom in ?, it’s not like there’s a major investor waiting to step in is it ?

Yeah sadly enough there are definitely some fans (though fortunately none of them are on here) who would rather they were proven right that Farke and Webber was a mistake, and certain players aren't very good, than we go and get top 6 this season and end up getting promoted, with those players being key to getting us up. How those people can convince themselves they're Norwich fans is beyond me.
There's a guy on the other forum (I don't look on there often enough to know who the good posters are and which ones are morons, but if I had to guess I would say he is the latter),who created a thread about how bad Vrancic is. And after both the Birmingham and Millwall games he immediately went in there and posted something along the lines of 'No Vrancic in the team and we win the game, shows how bad he is blah blah blah'. What a sad bloke that his first thought after we won a game is: "I can use this win to back up my point that Vrancic is sh*t". I personally think Watkins is sh*t, but if we win and he doesn't play, I don't give him a second's thought. Really odd that some fans do.
It is the minority of fans to be fair, but obviously they're the ones who love to show off their opinions. I'm sure that a certain percentage of supporters at every club are similar. When we win of course you can still criticise certain aspects that you didn't think were right, but even if you're unhappy about certain things then you're still pleased overall that we've won. Some people are just clearly unhappy even when we win, because it means there isn't going to be as much to criticise. The vast majority of fans support the team and want the team, manager and all the players to do well, and that's the way it should be, just a shame about the others.
