Decided to give this one a miss, just can't be bothered, Manchester is an absolute trek to get to, and I think we all know the likely outcome!

Great news, Billy Gilmour is back in training...

Yes, just read that Morty Coach Smith and NCFC given a big boost by the return of gilmour Sure are some clowns that are posing as journalists. No football for me this weekend, off to Iasi, which is having a big Tarantula spider exhibition, so I 'll take a look at that, down some good sipping stuff and dine well

Morning. #ncfc SD takes his seat at Colney. Placheta back. Gimour back after Covid. Williams ineligible against parent club

Josh Sargent is out of his protective boot, but not available for Saturday.

DS: 'I've been told there is some planned fan protests up there. Maybe it is the right time to play them.'

Great escape? DS: “We have to believe so but I’m also a realist.”

“If they weren’t very good footballers they wouldn’t be at Manchester United, but we’ve got renewed confidence to do what people have said is not doable.”

On Manchester United… DS: “I don’t think there’s ever a time you really look forward to going to Old Trafford, but if there is ever a time then it’s probably now.”

DS: “We’re playing with a bit more confidence now, which is what a win in the Premier League gives you. We played really well against United earlier in the season as well.”

On last game against United… DS: “I’m still aggrieved at the penalty decision. Some of the clips we’ll show the players will be from that game.”

DS: “These players really care. They’re going out and wanting to win football games. They know how important it is to get results.”

On Lees-Melou… DS: “He’s a good finisher. He probably hasn’t taken the chances he’s had this season. Although, I told him he needs to work on his celebration.”

Smith is pleased that Pukki wants to remain at #NCFC beyond this season. States his goal scoring record speaks for itself and he’s a pleasure to work with.

#ncfc DS not expecting to see Omobamidele this season. Awaiting one more scan result, then build him back up for next pre-season. Idah, likewise. Early stages of his rehab.

Nice segment from #ncfc DS on Hanley. 'I didn't realise how good he was, or how quick, before I got here. I was speaking to Ollie Watkins recently and he said how much he hates playing against him.'

Gutted .... deserved at least a draw from that match. PLM and Pukki excellent again, as was Dowell. Gibson delivered a shocker for their first goal and was out-muscled by Ronaldo for their second. Krul unlucky with their third. Last two performances have shown us that here is light at the end of the PL tunnel .... pity that tunnel is leading to the Championship.

Aye, disappointing, but who knows, maybe this can spur us on to pick up a few results.

Hearing McLean might have broken his toe, could be out for the rest of the season.
Silver linings and all that...

Imo we didn't deserve to lose that. I never did understand why we bought Gibson, let alone paid 8m for him. I will take credit for saying so before we did, £8 was too much, he showed his shortcomings while still on loan but of course some idiot had committed us to the deal already. Some of his first half play was so unbelievably awful.

Great fightback then Gilmour comes on and we fall to pieces again. Underlined to me, yet again, that Smith is NOT the man to take us forward. Too bland and no rapport with fans which there has to be.

Got to wonder why we haven't seen more of Dowell given that there's an obvious understanding between him and Pukki.
