Its a win win (hopefully) the players playing know full well they have to perform, or be hooked, and that there is quality on the bench that wants their places. And bring those guys on and they know they have to impress to keep the place. Everybody is motivated.

Thankful Krul is only on a 2 year deal, new keeper priority for the summer and McLean is a poor showing again.

We should be well out of sight but yet again we gift a goal and Hull will be up for that second half.

The problem is:-
Kenny is ok

Leitner is world class
Vrancic can be good

Being 'ok' would be fine if you're midtable, not if you're looking to play in the premier come August and have two far better players sat on their rs

I don't think McClean is better than Vrancic or Leitner. But he is a good player and he did play well tonight.

For me Vrancic is maybe the pick of the bunch because he does more damage going forward as well as having a great range of passing.

Vrancic and Leitner came on quite late again,
Vrancic, I didn't personally see him use the ball
Leitner, I saw him make 2 or 3 good passes through to the front players
McLean, cant think of any passes or tackles in 95 mins which caught my eye.

I think Onel had a quiet game too, obviously Krul had his howler.
