Yes, I would suggest Gibson gets picked for the left foot balance. Although he is also the best passer of the centrebacks.

Six of the top eight teams play tonight so no pressure, even Sunderland down in 12th place could leapfrog us.

Job almost complete. This group of players never had any intention of reaching the play-offs. let alone actually getting promoted. They have been there, done that and know a) that it is very hard work and b) that they are nowhere near good enough. If Wagner is a better motivator or organiser than Dean Smith, we haven't seen it yet, and the bar is set pretty low. There again , he is a mate of Webber's, so results don't matter. Tonight's effort reached a new degree of basic incompetence, which bodes really well for the games in the rest of the season.Equaliser scored by ITFC reject, which sums it up. My NCFC player of the season is Bali Mumba, who scored twice against ITFC for Plymouth, who took 4 points off them.

I have heard that said about the players.
It's the inconsistencies which amaze me, how different they can be from one game to the next.
Obviously they haven't suddenly lost ability, it's between the ears. How does Wagner change that? Can he change that?

The situation with not wanting to get promoted surely stems from our transfer failings over the recent years. If the players knew that we would spend and actually bring in some decent players to stand a chance, I'm sure it'd be a different prospect.

We sign midget wingers, when what we have needed since Grant Holt is a big target man for the others to play off. Pukki is past his sell-by date and Idah will never make it. Their performances are like watching Dutch Second Division football, straight out of a coaching manual , with awful execution.

The bad news is, we're not going to be buying Haarland any time soon, or his brother, and if we're being totally honest, yes his nan did turn us down in January when we enquired about a loan.
She visited Colney and spent a considerable amount of time in Wagner's office (he's such a lovely boy with such lovely hair) but apparently the swimming pool sauna & steam room not being available yet was a deal breaker.
Lumping it up front for a target man ala Grant Holt isn't the future for NCFC or Premier League I'm afraid.
Yes Premier League players need to be big, strong athletes but they need to be intelligent enough to adapt the style to the conditions.
Thats what seems to be the problem for us at the moment, mentally we're not in the game.
That's the challenge Wagner has, sort out the mentality, our players aren't the best in the land, but they're good enough for this league if they play to their potential.

I like your approach You obviously don't see what goes on at Carrow Road and Colney from an EDP viewpoint. Good enough for this League sums it up admirably, but it is a definition of madness to keep doing the same things and expecting a different result. Taking six passes to reach the halfway line and losing the ball en route hasn't been a huge success. There is no plan B, due to the lack of different personnel to use. Who would have expected Carlton Morris to become what he has? or Ivan Toney? Size has been a big contributor for both.
