Oh aye, but if I was paying good money for something that I am really not enjoying, then I would consider spending the money elsewhere. I saw a tweet earlier sympathising with our plight :-

Massive investment and probably a change of ownership Number 9.
The last 2 seasons in the PL have been, for me, the most dismal times in footballing terms I have ever known. I am just thankful it has cost me nothing. Oh and for the record Morty I saw little 'fighting' to stay up, which made it worse.

It appears that they have taken baby steps towards changing ownership BUT, The American doesn't have a record of massive investment in his sports clubs.
Obviously he has more money than Delia and her cohorts, but will he invest large amounts in new players?
From a business perspective, spending on players who are good enough to stay in the Premier League appears to make sense because of the income from TV, sponsorship etc but there's 19 other clubs trying to do the same thing many of whom have filthy rich owners.
I'm not entirely sure what he's going to do and what the plan is, looking forward to hearing from him at some point.

One injured player bought who is reputed to be of PL standard and an investor who is not known for throwing his money around, doesn't sound to me like a change of direction for NCFC to attempt to stay in the PL, promotion presumed. Assumptions being made here I acknowledge, but surely several players with PL experience and as I posted before, massive investment is needed to achieve what what we want. Without, we all know what will happen......again.
