Well. What do we say about this? Could we get something? Maybe? Will we? Probably not lol. I wonder if Dean will switch our formation up a bit, seeing as our best midfielder Billy isn't available...
I think most of us are writing this off already!

What expectations do I have?
Pretty low ones atm, we had an opportunity against Brentford that we just threw away.
I understand that there's still enough games left for survival but the manner of our defeat was terrible.
Play the U23's against Chelsea.

No expectations. Little interest except to see how we do without Gilmour.
The untrained eye might not appreciate the difference for Billy playing with the likes of Chelsea's finest compared with playing with McLean.
Got to feel for him a bit.

Dean Smith was praising Gilmour in his press conference this morning. He said Gilmour had become a better player. I have seen no evidence of this.

I wonder how the Chelsea fans are now. they were so busy trying to kill the tribute to Ucraine, by chanting non stop the name of putins friend, that today, karma has given them a swift kick up the bum. Chelsea is owned 100% by abramovic, and now they have no income whatsoeverf and he can't sell the club, yet outgoings still have to be paid. Such a shame for such likeable fans

Along come Norwich told by the club Ukrainian flags not allowed tonight, seems like a really poor decision

That's disgraceful. No doubt a good kneeling will happen though. Makes a person wonder, where has the community spirit gone from norwich city? Makes a person ashamed to admit to being a Canary supporter

We are so lucky to have such a talented coach as smith, we could be losing easily to anyone. I still think he's a fraud waiting for his payoff. He doesn't seem to be able to pick a team, to set them up, to motivate them and I'm preety sure that he thinks tactics are those tiny mint sweets in a plastic container. I kept standing up to turn the tellybox off, but couldn't bring myself to do it, hoping that things would improve. They did a bit with the half time subs, but to no avail. Thoroughly disappointed with NCFC and smith the master coach

As a villan - I have a lot of respect for Deano. If I could politely point out - I think most neutrals saw the task in hand for Dean as extremely difficult as best.
I have no doubts that Dean will return you to the prem at the first time of asking and in a stronger position to stand a chance of staying up.
I would agree with your assessment of Shaky though, very poor for us.
We lost John Terry and Richard O’kelly and Shaky came in as a replacement and we never really looked as comfortable.
I hope you can perform a footballing miracle but if not I would - stick with Dean, he is a good fit in my view for you guys

Thanks DaveJ..I don't think many of us thought that it was an easy ride for the man. but he just doesn't seem to be doing a good job. Hopefully, you will be right about next season. Any good midfielders you can donate to us?

Yes I think Conor Hourihane would be a really good signing for you guys - Deano would be well aware of his strong points.
I hope this happens in the summer, with hopefully you still in the prem
