Must win, etc...

Love a trip to Charlton but currently on way home from Brazil, so can't be bothered. My enthusiasm for away games flags when we are so dreadful #fairweather ;)

Considering Charlton form and ours, I think it is a must win! We really need to get a win to get the ball moving! Charlton are bang out of form in terms of wins, but have drawn 4 of their last 6.

My team for this would be

Grimmy
Fisher McConville Cordoba Yongwa
Mattsson Wright
Brooks Krivst Scwarthau
Makama

Fit, but not for 90, so would bring him on for last 30. If he can't complete a game bring him on to increase tempo, or manage the game should we be ahead.

My worry is we go ahead if he starts, he comes off, and we concede a couple and end up losing the game

Kenny fit apparently...
But won't get 90 minutes. Will he start or come on later? I've a sense, reading between the lines of his press conference, that PC will start with Mattsson and Wright.

I've predicted a loss and I'm nearly always wrong. Fingers crossed.

It will be interesting if Kenny really is the answer again. He keeps getting written off, but it seems we are worse without him.

Really hoping you are wrong here again Sonyc.

It had bore 0-0 written all over it based on forms of both sides

Makes me smile when people blame Knapper when things aren't going well, nothing to do with team selection and tactics then

Think it’s a mixture of all three Fenway (great ballpark btw)

Whilst I do think Clement has got a lot wrong in terms of selection policy and tactics this season for sure, it can’t be denied there is a problem higher up than that!

Clement is now the 3rd FT manager Knapper has appointed who is under achieving parallel to our ambitions,
So either the squad that has been assembled by Knapper is not good enough to meet our ambitions as a club, or Knapper is unable to select a manager who is capable of meeting our ambitions!

Whilst we are underachieving in the here and now and that fault is with Clement and the players, the continued long term failure and underachievement of this club lies with Knapper!

Well I have to declare that I wanted Hellberg when we were hiring last time round. I would have been happy with Jon Dahl Tomasson too but had there been a choice (there wasn't) I thought Hellberg was the best fit for the style I felt we needed (and I wanted). He had a reasonably good last season like Clement.
I still like Clement and think he is sound but I am unsure about his tactics this season.
As for Knapper I think he is running out of time and the longer decline since Wagner has to rest mostly with him, ultimately. I know you can then debate the ownership or look at a certain negligence. But how many years do you give for a plan to come into place or something like a direction forward to come into fruition? We seemed to be getting there last season. Now the wheels may have come off.

Getting ready to leave Norfolk for the trip to Epping, then train into the 'Orrible ole Smoke. Must love pain, me, that's all I'm saying, add in it will probably piss down.

Would you take 0-0 though? It’s an away game, it would stop the rot of losses, and be a clean sheet. All increasing what little confidence we have before a couple more games we could get a result in.

I’m tempted…

Don't disagree with that at all , everyone at the club needs to take responsibility for what's going on, including our American friends
