Haha, wasn't it black Friday, the last one before Christmas?
I was absolutely hanging, and lived in North Walsham at the time, and was pretty sure I wouldn't have survived the train journey to the City!

I can't remember but I do know we played at home again a few days later and an employee at the club who I knew saw me and I said "that Huckerby needs to sack his agent the greedy bastard" and the employee said "what if I told you he had?", and then the news started going around that he'd signed. I remember that much, and being gutted that I missed that game.

At least I stayed to the final whistle of the 4-4 against Middlesbrough, thousands didn't
