Will Cameron be fit?

Will Pinto, and what effect will that have on a defence that actually played okay last week?

Hoolahan or Pritchard?

Would you call this a MUST win game this early in the season ?

I think it might be as A. N. job just might be on the line now

We must break the run we are on, thats for sure. But as hysterical as a lot of fans are, the board are making it pretty clear that they back Alex for the long term.

I have been to the last two away games, and yes folks are disappointed about a lot of things, but are actually fairly tolerant, and there isn't that much dissent. Obviously all fans will get to a point where enough is enough though, lets hope its not this Saturday, we could all do with a win.

Gut feeling says we'll get back to winning ways here and I'm going for a nervy 2-1 win, be interesting to see how the crowd reacts if we go behind

Well we will break this run at some point. Just got a feeling its not going to be this saturday though.

Hope I am wrong - I have done more than my fair share of long journeys home feeling miserable after a defeat in 2016. It would be good not to face another one on Saturday.

This current run of form really does sap the spirit and we all could do with a lift going into the festive season.

From the presser :-

Howson has been training and is ready.

Jerome and Tettey touch and go.

Thompson out.

Targetting the Swansea game on Tuesday for Jarvis.

Pinto available, and although not mentioned, I assume Dorrans too.

dorrans was just a 1 match suspension rather than an injury so should be back in contention

Buying himself some time....
Said this at half-time.

How good were we! Pritchard is the player that we hoped Naismith would be, and now we know without a shadow of a doubt that Howson and Pinto are two of our very most important players, and John Ruddy can do what another keeper can't do - keep a clean sheet.

And Bassong looked quite composed today playing alongside Ruddy.

Great performance, and we should go into the next game unchanged if possible.

Very enjoyable indeed. Lots of good movement and link up. Massive boosts having Howson and Pinto back. Pritchard was classy. Jacob was a huge threat in the first half and Nelson was impressive upfront.

Although have to balance that with the reality that Brentford are very, very ordinary and there will be much tougher games coming up.

There is literally no need to balance it with anything. All I'm seeing all over the place is "buts", people just need to relax and enjoy days like this.

So if we'd have just won 5 or 6 games in a row and done it in style and then lost to Newcastle you wouldn't balance it by pointing at the previous good form?

What I am saying is that I enjoyed a great game at Carrow Road and I see no need to desperately put any kind of negative spin on it. I genuinely believe some people were expecting a Hughton / Worthy style apocalypse and were a wee bit disappointed it didn't happen.

When keeper and defence are hospitable

Then is the time to be critical,

But any five-nil is no bitter pill

Even if the opposition was invisible

Now all they need to remember

Is details from the third of December,

So upcoming foes don´t cause so many woes

And we become again, a contender.
