Think there may be a change or two. Wes may be used more for home games, Naismith might not be everyone's cup of tea but he is a worker and DF may prefer that away from home. We may also go a bit more back to possession football ( that would really wind up their fans if we have the ball a lot ) Jerome or Oliveira ? Not sure if he may go workrate again and give Terry a more physical battle.

Agree with that, I would be surprised if we dont see at least a couple of changes and also agree that may well be Naismith and possibly Jerome. I'm thinking Villa will be a different proposition than the one that plays so dreadfully away from home.

I'd expect us to make a couple of changes too, I'd actually like to see Wildschut come back into the team, we're probably not going to have as much of the ball as we've had recently so I think we'd need a natural winger to run at them and get the ball forward quickly when we do have it

Off to Birmingham for this one, probably the only away game I'll be able to get to until around Christmas time. My flatmate is a Villa fan so am heading down there with him, obviously though he'll be in the home end with me in the away. We're heading out into Birmingham after that, with a few of my flatmate's mates who are also Villa fans. Gonna be awful for me if they win

Looking forward to this though. Going off what my mate has said Villa have been awful in their first 3 games, and have Hogan and Kodjia out injured. Sounds as though for us neither Hoolahan or Pinto will be fit enough to start. Both are obviously big blows, but there's something about the way we play that is so much better when Pinto is in the side. Hoping maybe we'll at least be able to throw him on at half-time.

I sort of expect us to refer back to 3 at the back, maybe going with something like this:

That's what I imagine we'll do. I would prefer to see something a lot more similar to Wednesday, but with this being our 3rd game in 6 days I think we'll make quite a few changes. Wouldn't mind seeing Steipermann given a chance to be fair, he looked a unit when he came on against QPR, but we have so many midfielders it's hard to fit them all in. Also wouldn't surprise me if Wildschut came back into the fold.

If I had to predict the score, I don't think we'll win in all honesty. I'll say 1-1.

Too early to panic, and pointless panicking anyway. Remains possible that Farke / Webber know that a couple of areas still need addressing. 

Currently a bit concerned that we may be limiting Nelson Oliviera's football because we don't want him injured in the next 12 days though, can't think of any other reason why Jerome would have started today. If Nelson Oliviera was injured as claimed then he wouldn't have been on the pitch at all.

Despite the line up in midfield with more physical players, that's where this game was lost as that defence was, just like last season, left very exposed at times due to not enough closing down and aggression in midfield. I always look back at the build up to goals, and for me that's the main difference when compared to the QPR match.
