Yeah surprised me but thought Bennett had a good game,  should have made the subs 10 mins earlier though.

Still, dont give me hope Norwich and then dash it, you have to finish the job now!

Absolutely deserved today, looked good after about 15 mins.

Gives us great momentum to take into the next two games. If we can ride that momentum and get two wins we're basically safe.

just back from the game and i'm absolutely buzzing right now, I can barely talk but its totally worth it, we've got to make sure we finish the job in the next couple of weeks against Palace and Sunderland, 4 points from those two should just about do it

and this is why i'd hate to play against Naismith, I'd just want to punch him if I was going up against him, but he knows exactly what he's doing

Wow! Incredible game and a massive massive win. Well deserved as well.

First half I thought we were comfortably the better team. Thought it was hilarious as well that at when we get a free-kick in a decent area, at 0-0, in added time at the end of the first half, that the Newcastle fans decided not to give us the ball back, allowing Robbie Brady time to compose himself for the free kick, which he whipped in brilliantly and Klose scored from. We had some great opportunities in the first half as well. Brady should've done better when the ball fell to him at the back post, even on his weaker foot, and Darlow made a great save to deny Mbokani as well. There's also the offside goal, which I'd like to see again, however considering how many times Mbokani was offside throughout the game it wouldn't surprised me if the goal was rightly ruled out. We controlled the half though pretty well throughout though, and merited our lead going into the break.

2nd half was a bit more nervy. Newcastle had a lot more possession and put a fair bit of pressure on us. Alex Neil I think could've made a change a bit earlier. In the lead up to their first goal it was obvious that we were quite tired, the likes of Naismith and Jarvis and particular, and at that point we had become quite stretched. Had we not won the game then I think Neil would've come in for some stick for that. When Mbokani brilliantly smashed in the 2nd goal I thought that it would be game over. I thought that Newcastle surely wouldn't of been able to recover from that goal so quickly after they thought they had got back into the game, but we began to sit really deep and they managed to get themselves back into it with the penalty, which I'd also like to see again, but to be fair it did look like it hit O'Neil's hand (think it was O'Neil, might be wrong). At that point I thought it was game over, and that we might even go on to lose it. Shows a lot about our team spirit though that we kept going. I thought the ball would never drop to anyone when it was bouncing around in the box, but it eventually fell for Olsson and cue the delirium.

Great to see Klose get man of the match. He was simply brilliant yet again, and I'd go as far as to say is the best centre back I've seen in a Norwich shirt, however my man of the match today would've been Mbokani. An absolute beast in the air, worked ridiculously hard and scored a fantastic goal. Howson and O'Neil were superb again in the centre of midfield, and I thought the back 4 as a unit all played well, even Wisdom who I thought grew into the game after a mixed first half. Have to say I wasn't particularly impressed with Jarvis or Naismith, and haven't really been at all since we signed either of them. Jarvis, to be fair, does work very hard and offer us a lot defensively, and Naismith linked up very well with Mbokani, but I expect more really from both of them. Brady also played well, as per usual.

Anyway, what a win that is. Palace and Sunderland next 2 games. If we can take at least 4 points there, ideally 6, then although we won't be completely safe, I'd back us to stay up. At this point, even though we have a little bit of a gap ahead of the teams below us, I'm still undecided.

Wow, that was a.rollercoaster. I left exhausted.for me it's hard to call mom between Klose and Mbokani. Both were excellent. Klose captains the defence. I would like to see our own penalty appeal again. Looked like one to me and I had a very good view. Couldn't see squit for the O'Neil handball but there was hardly any protest so presume it was pretty clear.

was a little harsh in that he was pretty close to the ball when it was played, but did have his arm out and made a slight move with it towards the ball so can't really complain about it, I've seen lots of complaints from newcastle/sunderland fans saying that our third shouldnt of counted for a handball from howson, where as that one for me was never on purpose, he just took a couple of steps forward and the ball slightly brushed his hand but never in a million years looked like he was trying to control the ball with his hand

I don't think he was entirely unaware that the ball might come into contact with his arm, particularly the second touch which got it nicely infront of him.

I do think both incidents were hand balls,  the key thing a movement of oneils, howsons arms towards the ball.     While ONeils was obvious I didnt notice the howson one until the tv replays and its significant that not one newcastle player appealed at the time - shows the power of repeated view at slow frame video.

As many have pointed out we have had more than our share of poor decisions - this is just an evening out of the season so far so very welcome indeed;   long may the fortunate winners sequence continue (well - at least the next two games !!  ;-)  )

Earlier we arguably should have had a penalty when Jarvis was brought down in the box, think he went down a little easy because he didn't fancy the angle but seen penalties given for less.

Agree - I see it and think that it was definitely a pen,  no matter what the commentators said;   clear clip,  intentional or otherwise,  as jarvis surged past;  given more times than not;   fortunately it didnt matter this time

This result has not saved us though it has helped give us a better chance but surely it relegated Newcastle?

i can't see how Newcastle can get enough goals and points to overtake both us and Sunderland.

Morty's new friend is as accurate as he is profane.

Watching Newcastle, I did wonder how Graham Carr has got such a great reputation as a scout when this shower was the fruits of his labours?

That was an AWESOME 12 minute rant! :D    Is there a channel like that for Norwich?
