It's starting to look a little bit like this hasn't gone to plan. I wonder how they will attempt to style it out.

Overall I'm happy enough! Anybody was an improvement after all!
He indeed has a pedigree and has a huge persona, let alone being 6ft 4 tall. He ought to command respect both as a person and as a manager. Next 5 games crucial for us now.

Whilst I'm sure he has had the brief that there is no settling in period, I hope people can be sensible and cut him, maybe, a wee bit of slack.

I'm going to Brum away on Saturday, so I can promise you that I will give him my full support!

Exciting appointment! Bit surprised he would come to us in our position but he needs to rebuild his reputation after coming second to Celtic. Certainly the best of all the names mentioned imo.

Actually a very good pedigree, on paper. I didn't know much about him.

I am a Rangers supporter. Clement is a genuinely good manager. He was sold down the river by the Rangers Board of Directors at the start of the 24/25 season and because of their very poor decision making he was not given the financial backing he was promised. Despite that he took us directly into a top 8 spot in the Europa League in that season. If the Norwich Board backs him he won't let you down.

He once substituted Todd Cantwell in the first half because he wasn't following instructions so he's not all bad..

I was at Ibrox that evening. It was a Europa League tie against a Cypriot team. Cantwell decided that he would 'do his own thing' that night during the first half. He lost possession when he should have released the ball about 10 seconds earlier which allowed the Cypriots to break up the pitch and score. Clement subbed Cantwell straight after it and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Thanks for sharing. Just in and watched. I got a completely different feeling watching him speak than I did with Manning. The latter was full of clichés and I could never get myself away from thinking he lacked a confidence in himself (I like to watch interviews with the sound off as well - same with TV and politicians). Whereas this Philippe bloke looks self-assured. These things matter (for me anyway). I'm hoping the team now really moves up a gear or two. This very morning - for about the first time this whole season I'm starting to think we could avoid relegation. They've left it late for this change but better late than never. We need 3 wins out of next 5 I think to get on a par (18 played, 18 points) which could extrapolate to being about 20th or 21st.
Onwards eh. Enjoy Brum.
