Just seen the sad news posted by TIL 1010 on the passing away of Laps. I met him 4 times after games in the Nelson, whilst on my Winter Pilgrimages from Romania. He was always interested in comparing life and football in the two different countries. Sad for his family and all his friends. He will be missed by them all. I know you knew him Morty

He asked me for a drink pre covid completely out of the blue and thank God I went. Such a nice bloke and such tragic news. He will be much missed. Rest In Peace Lapps.

Yeah I knew Mick for about 10 years, here's a picture of one of the early PUP's meets, and one from one of the last ones. Absolutely lovely guy, so kind and warm and loved a bit of mischief. A real character who will be very much missed. One of those folk that nobody had a bad word to say about.
