Fer and Snodgrass.

I think Fer has proven that he hasn't got the required attitude for a relegation scrap so probably no to him. Snodgrass might not come back from this injury the same player so I'm not sure.

I mentioned this in the Boro match thread. Not for me. Think what you got from Snodgrass was counterbalanced by what you lost from having Snodgrass in the side. I think we're a far more balanced and effective side without him.

Fer, whilst probably the most all-rounded CM we've had at this club for a long time was rather inconsistent for us, and would cost a bomb.

No for me on both counts

I've got a lot of time for Snoddy. It seems playing through the pain barrier while injured because he was committed to the cause was the main reason for the seriousness of his injury. Probably a season in the Championship is an ideal way to kickstart his career. Going back for old players is always pointless though. Jacob Butterfield got the most assists this season (more than Redmond) but we move on.

Two very talented footballers who should both be playing in the Premier League. However considering what they would cost I would rather we not go in for them. If they were both available for a small fee though I'd be happy with that.

I really liked Leroy Fer. His performances in the first half of the season were superb, and I remember thinking at the time that he is probably one of the best players I've ever seen in a Norwich shirt. For me though the problem wasn't his attitude, but his fitness. He looked absolutely knackered in the second half of the season, hence the reason why his performances started dipping. He had the odd good game in the second part of the season, for example I remember against Manchester City at home where we drew 0-0 he had Yaya Toure in his pocket, but ultimately despite his undoubted ability he was too inconsistant, hence the reason why in the end he didn't contribute massively to us trying to stay in the league. On his day though a wonderful footballer, who I thought when we first signed could be playing in the Champions League in a few seasons.

Snoddy as well is a great guy. Seemed to love this football club and worked tirelessly on the pitch. Quality player and it's unfortunate that he's been injured all season for Hull and therefore hasn't been able to try and help them stay up. However whilst I think we should prioritise signing a winger in the summer, I don't think it should be him. Like GMD said I think we're more balanced without him, and need someone who plays on the left hand side rather than the right.

Good players. I think people see Fer as being slightly better than he is because he's had a few games for Holland. But I think if you look at the clubs he's played for so far (Feyenoord, Twente, Norwich and QPR) that probably tells you he's not that great. Good but not great. I don't think he was ever too good for us or above the level of the rest of the squad.

We should move on. With Snodgrass....  Max Gradel is looking for a move back to England and has been class for St Etienne, Bakary Sako at Wolves is leaving on a free and wants a move to the Premier League, remains to be seen whether Steve Bruce wants to give Tom Ince another chance (although he does come with baggage, his dad!).

If we were to be promoted then those would be my wingers of choice, from the very limited repertoire of players that I know of. Doesn't seem particularly difficult to find good wingers at the moment if you are a Premier League club considering I've named three good ones and my knowledge can be considered fairly sparse. Plus we don't know whether he'll ever be the same player again.

No for Leroy Fer too. Has been inconsistent with QPR and they have the same complaints as we did, often lazy or looking disinterested but the occasional moment of brilliance.

Time to look elsewhere.

Would love us to go in for Sako. Gradel as well is an excellent player but a free transfer for a player of Sako's quality, especially when we are in desperate need of a left winger, should we go up would be an excellent signing.

you can stuff Fer as far away from Norwich as possible.  bloody gloating how they would stay up as QPR were better prepared than his previous club. he got exactly what he deserved..

Snoddy I would have him back, he shows the fight for the club who pays him,  which is nothing more than we can ask for, those who love the club and stay here are few and very far between.  Drury  being one...   Out of the two, Snoddy stands head and shoulders above mr wonderful Fer.

He has had a terrible season and no fault his club have gone down, it is typical Bruce can only take any of his clubs so far and no more, normally left in a bit of a mess after he has left

Think ur perhaps being a bit harsh on him there. Was simply trying to ingraciate himself to the new fans. Think most players say similar things when they join a new club

The concept of Fer was great when we had him, but now we dont I wouldnt go out of the way to have him back. Norwich's main problem over the years with CMs is we had players with singular strengths, each of who could do one thing very well but had big weaknesses in other parts of their game.

Fer was head and shoulders above our other CMs and it was obvious to see. He was an all rounder, capable of doing all elements of a CM's job. Unfortunately he never really exerted his influence on games as we hoped he would. He would drift in and out of games, rather than taking control of them.

I always felt this was due to the lack of a quality partner for him, with a similar skills set, and also very much a by-product of Hughtons style of play. Playing in an Alex Neil team, we might see more from Fer.

But he has moved on and so have we. Going back in for him would not be the right thing

In a word NO!!

They both jumped shipped (albeit we got decent money) but they are mercenary fuckers and it back fired, hope they stay at Hull and QPR.  Fer is *bleep* anyway, said it all last season a lazy Dickson Etuhu and that's saying something.
