Reckon, I might be just a little younger maybeAm I the youngest person here?![]()
That was a great side. I loved Fugelstad.First game, good win, green and yellow triangle nets! Good times, and I think I am in the minority that really likes the green and yellow net
I must admit, I don't remember much from the game, I was 6 at the time, but some great players in that team! That was a great side. I loved Fugelstad.
I probably did a report on that game. Its still on the Pinkun site, if it ever gets mended
When I first started going I usually sat in the old south stand. Seems like a long time ago now!My first game was Boxing Day 1986, Norwich 2 Notts Forest 1. I was 8 years old and sat on the half way line in the old South Stand with my dad, grandad and uncle. It's some of my earliest vivid memories. I remember we parked in the old carpark behind the River End, many years before there were flats there. My cousin, who would have been 15, came running up to the car all excited screaming "I've just seen Ken Brown". My grandad in his droll dismissive manner just said "Fancy that before a home game". Then I remember climbing the concrete stairs at the back of the stand, which seemed to go on for miles with my little legs and sitting in those rickety red and blue seats. Fond memories.
I think you do, although that was before the wife and kids arrived on the scene to curtail my fun so most of that season for me is a somewhat drunken haze.A glancing header from a cross from the right if I remember correctly.
When I first went it was just open terraces. When I first started going I usually sat in the old south stand. Seems like a long time ago now!
Yes, for me too. My dad made me a stool (painted black with yellow and green logo!) so I was the same height as him. When I first went it was just open terraces.
In the late 50's and 60's the gates were often so low that you could change ends with the team at halftime.Yes, for me too. My dad made me a stool (painted black with yellow and green logo!) so I was the same height as him.
Always liked the South Stand.
