Tough one this, sometimes it can be about an individual player, or it can be about the team he played in, in a particular era. Or just his personality.

My first match was 1992 and I only became a season ticket holder in 96, as I went to live in Germany for 3 years so couldn't get to games, so my choices based on players I actually watched.

1. Darren Huckerby. A player guaranteed to get you off your seat, you just knew that as soon as he got on the ball, something special was going to happen.
2. Grant Holt. Epitomised a real fun time to be a fan, absolute lion heart, and funny guy. Great back story too.
3. Emi Buendia. A Championship cheat code, ridiculously talented, and I would venture possibly the most technically gifted player I have ever seen in green and yellow. Made Todd think he was better than he was, and made a lot of goals for Teemu.
4. Iwan Roberts. Ignoring his first season, a shining light in a fairly drab era. Ridiculously nice man, if you see him round Norwich he'll always stop for a chat.
5. Gary Holt. Just loved three lungs, his tireless work was the heartbeat of the team, often taken for granted.

There are loads more that I could include for various reasons, Gabrielle Sara, Johnny Howson, Cameron Jerome, Leon McKenzie, Bradley Johnson, Craig Fleming, Adam Drury, Ollie Skipp (Really wish we had bought him)Someone else will post here and come up with a name I completely forgot about!

I left out Wes because I think he tarnished his reputation when he had a strop when he wanted to leave.

Bruce (defensive perfection, what a footballing brain he had), Holt (our Roy of the Rovers, clinical, played with an enjoyment you rarely see), Keelan (maverick, mad, brilliant), Huckerby (excited everyone when he got the ball at his feet) and Drinkell (hardest shot).

Very difficult one...others? Wes (obviously, Forbes, Stringer (went on to be a successful manager too), Zimmerman (seemed to me he was Norwich through and through and even came back to honour Michael WJ), Teemu (just a model professional), Emi (ridiculous skills)...so many others (as above).

I’d swap Wes in for Roberts and move him to the top, absolute magician who made the most of his small frame. Yea Buendia was a better player with a much higher ceiling but Wes and co brought me more joy personally. And I’d swap Huckerby and Holt round for same reason, the Wes/Holt partnership was by far my favourite time as a supporter personally.

Otherwise would be exactly the same and for the same reasons. Loved watching Hucks as a kid, shame we couldn’t stay up.

I also had a soft spot for 3 lungs so I’d keep him there. I only vaguely remember the 93 team as I was 7 and it was a dark time after until Worthy came along. Everyone prior is only from a time only known from history books. Feels bad leaving Pukki out but I’d go heart over head, him and Roberts would be 6-7.

And before the haters start, you surely have to admit he had the best song.

Rob Green - I grew up watching Green and as a keeper modelled my game on his (minus the howlers for England)
Buendia - an absolute maverick and joy to watch, good song too
Pukki - goals, goals, goals and think he and Emi go hand in hand
Fraser Forster - A quality keeper I wanted us to keep, and instrumental in that league 1 promotion season
Adam Drury - Mr consistent, always a decent game, and solid defensively (something a lot of FB’s lack these days)

He's not the only one but I f*king loved (and still love) Tettey.
Can I have a word with you about your swearing please?

It is actively encouraged here, we're all grown ups ;)
