I'd like to think we can get something here, and this would certainly let us know if our start of the season slump was over. And lets not make any bones about it, Derby are in dreadful form. I just checked the form table and they have only won once in the last ten games.

I'd start the same side again, it would feel a bit mean to drop Field just because Kenny is fit, same re Pelle and Wright, as much as I like Pelle, I feel Wright could improve with a run in the team.

Also I'd like to think that we can get a bit from other upcoming fixtures.

Could start to become a good run of results if we pick up 3 points. I do wonder if Clement will bring Vlad back into the starting 11. Grimshaw was struggling with his kicks at the weekend.

I too really like Wright, he needs more game time.
Wonder if we'll start with Makama too, as Kvistgaarden really put a shift in at the weekend, and there's been quite a bit of rotation so far this season.
Same with Fisher, probably get a start too. And he'll be hungry.

I recall last year and Derby were seriously crap then, but managed to beat us (second half if my memory serves me). Under Manning then but still a low in last year's campaign.

This is a game we should expect to win. No idea who should start but hopefully we might put another centre midfielder in if Pelle or Kenny are fit. Would rather us defend from the centre than allow the defence to be so open. We've been crying out for control of the middle. In my (amateur) analysis, if you have control here it's more than half the battle. Musaba and Brooks might be fine chasing a game but not controlling it. Unless PC thinks we can take a game immediately to a team.

I'd still find a place for pelle , I think we should beat a really out of form derby,it will be interesting to see who Clement starts in goal

Interesting dilemmas, Mattson is easily our best midfielder, but given how we dug in to turn the game around on Saturday would it be fair to drop players? But obviously you could go cup half empty and say that it was their mistakes that led to us being 2 nil down.

I'm not 100% convinced by either of our keepers :p

Yeah would be tough on Wright and Field and I would retain both - but if Pelle is available (seems possible) I would add him to the mix and possibly drop Musaba. Again a bit tough on him because he scored the equaliser - but it's about winning a game of football.

I'm not convinced about our keepers either. Like them both but it's not the Norwich way to not have a brilliant keeper is it! That's one thing we always had. I hoped Vlad was going to be a great keeper. Yet he has somewhere to go yet!

Is Vlad bad, or does he get forced into too many one on one situations by our defence?

That question is rhetorical, because I have no idea either!

I think Mattsson comes back in for Field if fit, thought he struggled along with a lot of others in the first half, and we need the legs of a Kenny or Pelle in that midfield to close the spaces quicker.

Interesting with Kvist and Makama, Kvist has come into form (albeit not scoring a huge amount) but I think the Pink'un lads said it was 7 goal contributions in 10 now for him, but Makama still fits our style of play better in the 9 position. Its a great problem to have.

Both keepers look shaky, but both also have their positives, but as Sonyc says, we have been blessed with some great keepers in our time, so maybe we are just over expectant in that position now. Are they bad keepers (No!) are they they standard of previous stoppers in our teams (Far from it), can they both be Championship top 6 standard keepers (Maybe! when in form Vlad yes)

We have a decent record v Derby, I will be disappointed if we don’t pick up all three points.
