Well. Which Norwich City turns up here? Who is fit, and who was just pretending to be injured because they didn't want to go away on international duty? It feels, to me, that about now is the time to start finding some form, because we could start to lose touch with the top 8 very quickly if we don't.

No idea, I'm still in Brazil (The country, not Alan)

Saw today that Adam Idah plays for Swansea, I did not know that.

Oh, just looked at the table and Swansea are top, brilliant :p

Here is hoping they have spent three weeks looking at shape and looking at how unbalanced the team has looked.
Its clear that if we are going to play two high and wide wingers, then we need a 10 who is happy to work hard and plug the gaps that will leave.

I think we clearly look stronger with Makama up top, who is able to hold the ball up, allowing time for those out wide and in the 10 to get up in support, which allows them the chance to work back defensively and do their bit.

I would go with the following (fitness depending - lets see what Clement has to say in pre game presser today)

Vlad
Fisher McConville Cordoba Yongwa
Mattsson Wright
Brooks Maghoma Schwartau
Makama

This allows Makama to hold the ball up, and with Schwartau on the left allows Brooks to stay higher. - Slimane works harder than Maghoma and I would have him in there if he was fit, but Maghoma does have that spark that gives us creation.

I wonder if we will be a bit more conservative in midfield and opt for Field instead of Wright? I would like to see more of Wright at number 10 at some point, maybe not now though.

From the presser Chrisene is fit.

Diallo out for "weeks", Mclean a few weeks, Toure January (Not as bad as I expected).

I think the problem with Field in that midfield two with the two out and out wingers is he doesn’t have the legs to cover the ground needed, as was evident at Millwall.
Think Wright has more than earnt his shot with Kenny out injured.

Agree though, he looks good as a 10 option as well, and is willing to do the hard work as well.

Long term I think Schwatau is still our best 10 option
