Plenty are though, I'm ashamed to say that a lot of our fans have been spoiled by the last 6 or 7 years and have become very self entitled.I'm a very patient person. Infact my wife finds me annoyingly chilled out. So I don't get myself too worked up about what way the club is going.
But that doesn't mean I can't see what's right and wrong. I actually remember saying to you at the start of last season that things don't feel right.
Many disagreed. Just as they did when I called it early in AN's Prem season.Plenty are though, I'm ashamed to say that a lot of our fans have been spoiled by the last 6 or 7 years and have become very self entitled.
Just after we had been relegated, hardly prophetic![]()

Every manager will fail and either leave / be sacked. It doesn't make you Mystic Meg if you beat the rush to call it first. Many disagreed. Just as they did when I called it early in AN's Prem season.
That's the jealousy talking.Every manager will fail and either leave / be sacked. It doesn't make you Mystic Meg if you beat the rush to call it first.
Tell you what, I'm calling it now. Farke will be sacked. That's the jealousy talking.
That's missing the point somewhat. I mean you're absolutely right that a manager will usually end up getting the sack.Tell you what, I'm calling it now. Farke will be sacked.
I'm not saying when, just calling it first.
Things feel exactly like that would at any company which is seeing a huge fall in revenue, can easily be related to any job that any of you have had at a firm which is announcing redundancies. I can remember working in a big office where things felt very weird for a few weeks, then BOOM half of us made redundant including a pregnant girl. But that doesn't mean I can't see what's right and wrong. I actually remember saying to you at the start of last season that things don't feel right.
I would assume though, that you have been watching football long enough, and that with a few exceptions it all goes in cycles, and a team just doesn't keep improving, year after year, ad infinitum? That's missing the point somewhat. I mean you're absolutely right that a manager will usually end up getting the sack.
I'm more looking at whether the team/club is heading in the right direction. And I haven't really "felt it" since Wembley.
Arsene Wenger will still be Arsenal Manager in 25 years. Heard it here first.
Nah, they wouldn't sell all the family silver in one go.The worrying thing is our squad is midtable as it is. With very likely departures of Maddison, Oliviera, maybe Pritchard? We will have to start looking at the wrong end of the table.
And whilst I think we will finish comfortable midtable this season, you have to contemplate the thought of a relegation battle next season. Which would be a royal f*ck up from all those involved after the recent years in the prem.
Lets hope it never gets to that and we get lucky in the next 2 or 3 transfer windows. We will need it!
Of course they would, and if a 15 million bid came in for either Pritchard or Maddison, they would likely accept it.They would for enough £ notes.
