Gutted at first but on reflection a good point and a fair reflection of quite an evenly balanced game.

Unlucky but I'm sure most of us would have taken 5 points from the 3 games this month had they been offered to us.

I think AN was a bit premature in taking off Jerome. He was on a roll at that moment and was more effective than Mbokani.

Its a great point considering the start West Ham have had this season, just doesn't feel like it when you go a goal up twice.

A fair result really, both teams had their chances and both keepers had saves to make.

Its a week away yet but Alex Neil has some things to think about before the Leicester game, namely his wide positions, Olsson is now back and fit, Brady has done well moving up to left midfield and getting on the scoresheet, Matt Jarvis has started really well here and is eligible again, Nathan Redmond has come off the bench to score, difficult decision to make regarding who plays with all our wide players going so well at the moment

Enjoyed today's performance,  but even though I have always rated Olsson,  I much prefer the Brady and Jarvis combo particularly for a home game, quality.

what has Lafferty got to do, he has done more than Grabban , he has said he will fight for his place while Grabban tries to walk away.   sorry this is not the best AN has done

Grabban on the bench Lafferty nowhere to be seen ..
Disagree with this. Grabban is a better player than Lafferty, therefore he gets the spot on the bench.

Agree GJP, he is the glue that holds that midfield together and is a class act......maybe he will get an England call by the end of the season if he keeps it up and improves further.

Always liked Howson from the first time I saw him, and predicted he was a future Norwich City captain. That would be just amazing if he got called up for England.

The problem is that he's a victim of his own versatility. He's been used as a holding MF, right side and left side, but all to infrequently in what I consider to be his best position, which is just behind the striker(s). He was a striker in the Leeds youth system and you can see that when he gets the ball in box.

As things stand I think he is best deployed in central midfield but he could play off the forward.

I notice that quite often he's not in peoples' starting lineups for games. On the Pinkun poll for the West Ham game he was in 78% of teams, which is quite high but there were a few players above that - as there often are. Yet AN starts him every single league game.

To me it seems pretty clear that AN has identified him and Tettey as the two midfielders he definitely cannot do without.
