Signed a 3 year deal according to the journo who broke the story. Announced later. Fingers crossed!
Brilliant news! Was expecting at least an attempted gazumping, so hats off to the board again if this is true!

Just the defence to sort out now. At least one permanent and possibly one loaned. Going forward we are looking awesome now. With the defence strengthened we should be able to easily cope with only one DM in our starting eleven, leaving five places for the offense, instead of our current four. And with the versatility amongst our attacking players we could end up with exciting team selections. Adams, the boy done good.

Although on current form, Tettey and Johnson may be very difficult to dislodge – especially for away games, having that two-man defensive shield could make us more dangerous on the counter-attack as we'll break up play more frequently. And BJ does love to bomb forward on occasion too... :)

3 year deal, €3m initial fee, potentially worth €5 with add-ons (apperances and promotion etc)

Only about £2.5m up front... that's a fantastic deal! Is this official now, then?
Club brugge website seems to think he's gone :)

£2.5m wow, it's unusual for the value to drop lol... Brugge super keen to get rid and looks like we're one of a few options who are willing to get into the multi-million marks for him.

If he's such a talent, why are no-one else competing for his signature?  Anyone know if we've got scouts in that region, and who they are? Because if he is quality this will be a remarkable signing at that price.  ...Or we being pulled into the hype he set as a youngster breaking in to the game, very much like we were fooled into the hype of Van Wolfswinkel being the type who could score regardless of setup.... Who i may add we easily 'stole' the signature of.

Daily Mail now reporting it as a done deal.....

Norwich City have made an offer for Arsenal defender Ignasi Miquel. The Spanish prospect has struggled to break through at The Emirates and is in the final year of his contract. The 21-year-old who stands at 6ft 4ins tall had a seven game spell on loan at Leicester City last season.

Norwich have also signed Viadis Odjidja from Club Brugge after he flew over for talks yesterday.

Sportsmail reported Norwich's interest at the weekend and terms have been agreed on a three year deal.

The 25-year-old midfielder had seemed reluctant to go at first amid concerns he did not wish to play in the Championship but after a few days' thought he has been convinced it is a step in the right direction.

Odjidja was a target for Everton 18 months ago and Aston Villa last season.

And if the bid for Miquel is true, that would strengthen the defence, as he can play at CB or LB.

Only the Daily Fail could spell Odjidja correctly and screw up "Vadis" :)

I agree to a certain extent. But at home, once we are comfortable with our defence, we should be looking to play only one DM, no matter how good the pair of them are. Playing two, while increasing our defensive stability, decreases our attacking threat. We are no longer the small fish in the big ocean, we are now the predator, or should be. Even away from home, in certain matches, we should look to be the aggressors.

Disagree with that. Tettey/Johnson is working excellently and both are managing to get forward and attack. Dropping one of them in favour of a striker(?) would just imbalance the side.

Agree with Splutcho i like the cover Tettey and Johnson bring to the defensive line and their equally adept when going forwards, i think saying you're comfortable with the defence and then reducing the cover in midfield is effectively changing the defensive duties of the back line as a side effect.  I dont think it makes you less attacking to have a DM in place of a forward in all honesty, at least not if you've got pace on your side.  I would put numbers up top if i wanted to go direct, but i wouldn't if i wanted to control/dominate the game.

Adams confirms that we are in advanced talks, but not done yet.

Seems as though Adams is relatively confident about signing him, but always wary of deals that are in process and not done. Still time for other teams to come in and hijack it.
