Hi all, didn't know where to put this so hope it's ok here.
A good few years ago (on another message board) I had the fortune to "fall in" with a group of people online - we shared the love of NCFC and all got on together. Some already knew each other personally, some - like myself - lived miles away from the Fine City.
I was invited down to meet some of them, got on really well with them and can now rely on them being there Home and Away to meet up and talk to, share a meal and a pint - which is great for me as I travel to games on my own so its good to know I have people I can meet up with.
And through meeting them, I've met lots of other great City fans and have made some really good solid friendships.
Also, people in real life are completely different persona's than online.
So, if anyone ever wants to meet up either before or after a game - I usually frequent the Nelson on POW road.
Always up for meeting characters from message boards - last one to take up the offer was Lake District Canary, who is a really nice chap and very passionate (as we kinda knew from his posts) about NCFC.
