I dunno, I reckon he could get into their squad performing well regularly in the Champs. He did go to a World Cupp off the back of a patch Prem season in which he was relegated

Exactly, if it went to plan and he stayed and basically became the championships Yaya Toure, i can't see him being any more overlooked than if he was an average premiership midfielder. He was pretty lucky with the injuries Netherlands had to get in that WC Squad, so he probably understands the need to press on and improve. Strootman, Van Der Vaart and co will come back into reckoning.

That's just two games, both at home and one against 10 men. Good games, but I still think I need longer to judge. Fer if he stayed would be a great player to have available.

He's gone then? Don't really feel much emotion, just hope we reinvest a healthy proportion of the proceeds on a couple of decent incoming players.

So who's his replacement going to be? I think perhaps one of them types of player that can play comfortably CB and CM would be more beneficial. If it looks like Wes and Johnno are shoe in's, the new guy is basically waiting for Howson and Tettey to not be available. I can't see that being that attractive.

There's the David Luiz/ Kouyate/ Mbia/ Javi Martinez type player that can play both CB and CM that could be useful. They'd be there to cover when Tettey or Johnson needs a rest and also an extra face to challenge Turner, CC and Bennett (hopefully Russ goes back to right back)!

I just struggle to see what the gaps are that Fer has left now that Wes is back.

We probably wont miss him at this level. He was bought for the Premier League. Tettey and Johnson both scoring tells you enough about the required level in the champioship. Will be interesting to see how he does. Again been given number 10 so suggests he will definitely be a main man for QPR this season

I hope he does well on a personal level, but I hope QPR get relegated. Recent history is a joke and their fans are some of the worst I've ever come across.

With them seemingly keeping Remy (a whole season this time) I can't see it.

As 'arry alluded to recently, he's got good eggs this time. They've got a better blend of hard workers and talent.

Key for them now is to stay up there long enough to improve their infastructure or they will go the way of Pompey.

Apparently he had an absolute shocker as well, lost his man and let Dier get in front of him for the 2nd goal and got yellow carded before being substituted. I'm delighted QPR lost but I always liked Fer, so don't like to see him struggling. 

Not surprised he's off the pace, he's played about 20 minutes of football in the past two months.
