So I see that al us lucky punters now have an incredible opportunity to purchase Pinkun+.

Not sure on this one, over the past couple seasons the local journos have fawned to the club somewhat and I'm not convinced any breaking news would be given out behind a pay wall.

I subscribe to the Athletic £1/month for Michael Baileys comments, not sure if I want Archant's.

Whilst I like David Freezer and Connor Southwell, neither of them are anywhere near Michael Bailey. And I think Michael Bailey actually has better connections within the club, than Archant do. The Pinkun knew nothing of what happened around Farke's departure, Bailey had all of it on the Athletic.

I will not be paying for Pinkun plus lol.

Archant have people employed to trawl through social media, blogs and websites so that they can nick stuff to regurgitate as 'news stories'.
It's amazing how regularly that seems to happen.

Has anyone ventured over the paywall yet?

I don't think they have read the room very well here at all. Basically all of them are going to have stop posting on Twitter, where most people get their content for free anyway.
Very true

I don't subscribe to the Athletic, but my son does. And the reason it works is because it is a big, slick organisation, with many excellent contributors, who cover a wide range of sports, my son is an american football fan, and he likes it for that, not just football content.

The idea of paying for content that will likely be released on the Pinkun anyway does not really appeal.

How much is it, anyway?

Athletic can be got on their special offer from time to time, usually insightful.
Interesting peices this week about Rangnick and his methods, inc analysis from the Palace game, obviously caught my eye because of our game Saturday.
