It would probably take us winning and Preston snatching a point to give us hope.

I think theres plenty of time for twists and turns yet.

We have to do our bit to shape our own destiny though.

1-0 down after 15 minutes because of a catalogue of errors once again. Pathetic really, can't see us getting back in this game now because of our shocking away form. We need a big turnaround this summer.

Why Naismith continues to play ahead of Pritchard completely baffles me.

2-0 down after 22 minutes, and with our away form the game and essentially our promotion hopes are done

Don't want to keep using the word pathetic but it is literally the perfect word to describe us.

It's a good job we haven't got the weak links Whittaker and Bassong in defence.

5-1 down 25 minutes to go, did any tell the players how important it was to win today?

Just back from this.

That will be my last game of the season. My last three games have been Barnsley, Rotherham, and Sheff Wed.

I didn't think it was possible for us to be any worse than we were in the first half againt Barnsley in December. Today we managed to be that bad in both halves.

Half of the team didn't appear to give a sh*t. One player in particular has really annoyed me today, I'll refrain from mentioning which one.

Love this interview, can tell Cameron is as a fed up as so many fans are and that he is clearly hurting.

You can't do that to us, please reveal all :D
Jacob Murphy. Again. He annoyed me at Barnsley too, but he was even worse yesterday.

I know he is still inexperienced, I know he is probably the only player you'd expect to produce a bit of magic at the moment (with Nelson out),but he's just a bottle job and needs to understand that playing mens football means playing like a man. He ducks out of 50/50's like he's in training, or like a player playing a meaningless last game of the season when he's got a World Cup in the summer.

I can't remember whether it was Rio, Keane, or Scholes, but one former Man Utd player said that when Cristiano Ronaldo arrived they could see his was something special but he was a wimp so a few of the senior players kicked lumps out of him until he toughened up. Perhaps Jacob needs some studs down his shins. The problem is we haven't got any ugly players who would think like that anymore have we, he's not the only wimp

The only players who I respect for their performance and effort yesterday are Jerome and Hoolahan. The rest should get put in the stocks and pelted with tomatoes. I suppose Howson was alright, so I'll give him a pass.

Speaking of getting a pass, Jacob seems to get one from the manager. We know others have been left out because he doesn't think they do their bit defensively but that doesn't seem to apply to Jacob.

Neither did it apply to Brady. He quite clearly couldn't be bothered to defend at times which cost us goals but he could be sure of his place in the team.

Then you look at Josh who came in against Forest. Played with a bit of fire in the belly, scored a goal and has been on the bench since. What have others done to put him back on the bench? Nothing.

It's all bullsh*the though. Same as how the exact lineup and formation was suitable for the Ipswich and Sheffield games (two very different sides) even though AN apparently picks the team based on the opposition.

I hate to repeat myself, but I have been unhappy with the set up for a long time now. That fight has to come from the manager and the leaders, but the leaders only inspire fight when there is a culture of fighting together and it is not there. There is only one person to blame for that. We can point fingers at the board for allowing it to happen, but but person responsible for this is AN. We have procrastinated and lost any realistic chance of making the playoffs, and frankly we do not deserve to be there. We failed to beat Ipswich and yet AN keeps the same team. No tactical change. No personnel change. It's groundhog day, only it's getting worse rather than better each time.

If the board do not make a change then I'm afraid we are in line for an extended period in this division, loss of financial security and a growing squad inferiority.

How I now wish the board had been this loyal to Chris Hughton... Or Neil Adams...

We've somehow got ourselves in the situation where Alex Neil costs twice as much to sack in the Championship than Chris Hughton cost to sack in the Premier League.

A big 'balls up'

We talk about releasing deadwood to give us some money to play with to rebuild, but that £2m is likely to be about the same that it costs to keep Lafferty, Whittaker and Turner for a season
