Good chance to set the record straight, and quickly. A few decisions to be made perhaps, Hoolahan in for Naismith may be one, but by all accounts Naisy had a decent game Saturday. Overall we need to be a bit more streetwise and move the ball quicker and more directly. Oh and start Oliviera.

The thing is though that Naisy was decent but no more than that. He doesn't have the trickery/technical ability/creativity of the likes of Hoolahan, Pritchard or Maddison. Nor does he offer a threat in behind.

I see people saying that he was doing a good job of organising but actually what good did that do us against Sunderland?

I'm not sure you need both him and Watkins in the same team. Two attacking players of no particular position who work hard but haven't got the best touch.

Watched the extended highlights and Naismith looked decent first half, certainly no more than decent but still. Second half saw naff all from him.

Problem is im not sure he offered enough on the defensive side to warrant being ahead of Wes who is clearly on a complete other planet when it comes to technical ability and attacking play

Got to start Olly, we definitely need to score more than one goal with the lack of defending.

I would leave out Watkins, that means Naisy can stay and it means Wes can still play. I don't think DF will play them both though as I think he thinks about the size of players and that will make us too small as a team.

No pressure, but you're in the bottom three lads!

I know its only a few games, and I know its work in progress and we should all be patient, but a win would be really nice tonight, especially in the light of the six fingered fellows down the road having temporary crowing rights.

Bit pathetic though that the panic button has been firmly pushed by some of our less mentally able fans.

So my brother told me he'd read that Wes and Pinto are both out tonight, but I can't find that news anywhere, so don't really know if its true or not? hopefully not as I'd like to see them both come in, although I think Yanic has done well he does still have some work to do on his defensive side so I'd hope to see Pinto start, then maybe bring Yanic to run at their defence for the last half hour or so

Leaving for the game in about 20 minutes. Looking forward to this, a win tonight will really put the negativity from Sunday behind us. A loss and well, it isn't worth thinking about :D

Team:

Gunn
Pinto Zimmermann Franke Husband
Reed
Wildschut Maddison Vrancic Hoolahan
Oliveira
Watkins desperately needs to be dropped, just as Oliveira, Wes and Pinto have to come in. I'd be tempted to go for a back 4 as well as part of the problem on Sunday was the wing backs were so high it left the centre backs exposed. Would like to see Vrancic ahead of Naismith but think Naismith will keep his place.

Predicted a win on Sunday, so don't really wanna do that again. Gonna say we'll draw 1-1.
