The pinkun are running a poll about who should start at right back Max Aarons, Ivo Pinto, Ben Marshall or Felix Passlack.

I would love to see Aarons nail down the place, and he has proved himself good enough against Ipswich.

I think Farke will feel it’s too early for the pair of them, one may make the bench, hopefully McLean

think it'll be 0-0, Pulis will come here and be boring look for a point, and well pass the ball around between our defence and midfield for 90 minutes thinking we can score if we keep the ball 70 yards away from their goal, gonna be a shocker of a game

or we'll win 6-3 not sure

I’m worried but I don’t know why. I think it’s because I am anticipating a Pulis hoofball fest. But.... We did the double on them last year so I’m holdimg on to that thought.
Would also like to think Aarons has earned his place, and as for Passlack I don’t think he’s ready yet. He’s pacey, but seemed a little all over the place in pre-season.

International break gives me a chance to become overly confident with little to no logic behind it. We will win 3-0.

However International break also gives me a chance to review the season so far and realise that we score more goals now but can't defend despite having two CB's that most in this league would take. So we'll lose 3-0.

0-0 it is.

Having watched a bit of Middlesbrough they don't actually look that hoof ball as such, plenty of longish diagonals but also play it on the ground and they have also been playing with ten men all season and still winning, well from what I have seen of Stuart Downing they are. So, a tough game that unfortunately I feel will be nicked by the visitors with Downing MOM, hope I am wrong of course and we tonk them!

Unfortunately Middlesbrough one of the few teams who wouldn't with Ayala, Flint and Batth.

I reckon it will be 1-1 though (and I got the Ipswich score correct!).

Difficult game, but also one at the start of a run of fixtures that we really need to pick up points from. We saw a big improvement after the first international break last season, and realistically if Farke wants to keep his job then the same needs to happen following this break as well. As said above hopefully Vrancic and McLean are able to return. Think one of them next to Tettey would give us an ideal balance in midfield, so yeah if one of them is fit enough I'd start them. I'd go for:

Krul
Aarons Hanley Klose Lewis
Tettey McLean
Leitner Pukki Hernandez
Rhodes

Subs: McGovern, Godfrey, Trybull, Vrancic, Marshall, Buendia, Srbeny​

Aarons deserves to keep his place at right back, as I said before though if Passlack doesn't start getting more game time soon then his transfer begins to look stranger and stranger. Was torn between starting Leitner or Marshall on the right. Leitner's in a bit of a weird place to be fair, because he's too lightweight to play in holding midfield, but Pukki's practically nailed down the attacking midfield role, so his only option is really to play from wide, where he isn't particularly effective. I personally would probably start him purely because he scored in the last game against the scum so hopefully his confidence is boosted, but on paper Marshall is certainly the better option there.

No idea what to predict but at the very least we need an encouraging performance. Middlesbrough are doing well and are undoubtedly one of, if not the, strongest team in the league. So don't think we can neccesarily expect a result, but as I said, we do need to see signs of improvement. OTBC

Having let in 4 against WBA and 3 against Leeds, two sides you'd expect to be in the top 6 mix come May, I think we want to be making sure the back door is a little bit more shut.
