Well this should be interesting  :)

Local Ipswich press gobbing off about how they can beat us for the first time since 2009!

Loved Ipswich games when they were midweek. Straight from work either match. Always seemed to win them-apart from the Texaco Final in 1973. But Sundays seem to work in our favour as well.

The odds of probability say they must win sometime. But form says we ought to not lose. Not so sure I see them as rivals as much as we used to. They are just the nearest league team. And the players probably don't see it much different either. Not so sure there is anyone n the team since Holt who would try to wind them up.

I have many memories from intense derbies and will always see them as big rivals and a derby that is right up there with others OTBC

Absolutely gutted I'm away for this one. Been to the last 6 derbies home and away and we've won 5 and drawn 1, and produced some of my favourite moments as a Norwich supporter. The last time I didn't go to an East Anglian derby we lost, so hoping I'm not some sort of lucky charm :D

Not gonna predict the team as I haven't seen the last couple of games, but presumably if Olsson and Ruddy are fit they come back in. Hoolahan simply has to start the form he's in.

Hate predicting us to win so am gonna say we won't. 1-1.

I am a Norwich Fan living Woodbridge saw Ipswich for first time for years against Barnsley.

Only thing to be concerned about was the pace of Grant Ward & Freddie Sears they are lightning quick.

David McGoldrick was the best player on the field and he is out for 2 months. Easy 0-2

Josh drops out the side and the 18 all together, Mulumbu starts in his place, Jacob on the bench

They certainly missed the best chance of a win against they have had for years........set up to defend against them I feel was giving them way to much respect. What happened to this attack minded team that will go for it this season......I whinge rarely, but found the tactics today ridiculous with all of the talent we have regardless of those missing.

AN is a fairly defensive/conservative manager.

There's never been much to suggest he is dynamic in his approach.

To be fair I thought we played well in the first half and apart from a bit of ball watching would have gone in with a lead. Ipswich justplayed long balls into the channels hoping to keep our full backs pinned back. But I thought Mulumbu combined well with Wes and Howson who was allowed to push up and we played much the better possession football.

Goodness know what happened in the second half. We looked on the back foot and just sat deeper and deeper and Wes was out of it completely. And when Mulumbu went off and Howson sat back we just invited pressure and poor old Jerome was left to get on with it with little or no service.

But you are correct that AN talks of attack but seems reluctant to take any risks whatsoever.

Wasn't taking off Mulumbu for Jacob Murphy an attacking substitution ?

Didn't think any city player warranted a 7 today,. Simply below par, although I do agree klose was better than Bennett.
Is Bennett ever better than the man next to him?

I was at the game today and for 70 minutes before he picked up an injury the Norwich defence could not handle Daryl Murphy non stop running and he battered us in the air and this bloke cost nothing and is 33.

I wish our boys had some of his energy and hunger.

What has happened to our youth ? They had three teenagers on the bench where are our young players ?

Shocking performance manager has a big 10 days we need a championship striker who can handle the physical side a young Daryl Murphy for me.

They always say that the form book goes out of the window in Derby's, I'm not too worried about a 1-1 away to Ipswich, especially as we had 4 or 5 players in the treatment room including Pritchard. They still haven't beaten us in god knows how many years and hopefully they'll now underestimate us at Carrow Road

The only thing I'm worried about (increasingly so) is this striker situation.

We've always been rubbish at doing business late in the summer window.
