Think this game is the actual make or break game for Neil. Lose it and he will be gone, even a draw might not be good enough if the performance isn't.

Team:

Ruddy
Martin Bennett Klose
Pinto Howson Tettey Olsson
Pritchard Hoolahan
Oliveira
Think Jerome will probably keep his place despite his shocking finishing performance on Saturday, don't think Wes and Pritchard will both start, think it'll likely be the latter who keeps his place. Howson needs to come back in, and Olsson for the suspended Brady.

Don't think we'll win. In a way part of me hopes we get beaten because I think Neil will definitely be gone should that happen. Think we'll draw, 1-1.

Lets hope the penny has dropped and we push on,  we have to freshen up this window though,  let's hope we manage to ship some, think we might get our pants pulled down though.

Last couple of games have given a few signs that we me have cause for cautious optimism if we can get this transfer window right.

Difficult to be optimistic until we see who gets sold off, and the standard of the players that come in to replace them. This transfer window is Alex Neil's last chance to shine for me, needs to show us that he can wheel and deal us out of this mess.

Get this transfer window wrong and we could cause long term serious damage.

Can't fault Alex Neil or any of the players today, Probably our most complete performance of the season. It should have been a lot more than 3-0 really.

Have to wonder why Neil kept Wes away from the side for as long as he did. Phenomenal today, as we know he can be. Same applies to Klose as well, who was very good, and I actually thought Martin looked very solid alongside him. Naismith also put in an impressive performance. Can't argue with Oliveira being man of the match though, took all 3 of his goals very well and was really unfortunate when his lob came back off the bar. One thing that does worry me slightly though is that he is the only player to score for us since the 5-0 win against Brentford on December 3rd!

I think regardless of whether Derby went down to 10 men or not we would've won the game. Up until the opening goal we actually didn't look particularly good, our passing at times was shocking. From the moment we took the lead though it never looked it doubt. Really good performance. We have to build on this now though. As far as I'm concerned Neil should still have to go, but there is no chance he will after today. If we can perform like we did today consistently then I will be fine with him staying and there is no reason why shouldn't make the play-offs, but I just can't see us doing that. Have to say had Brady not been suspended I don't know whether Wes would have even played.

Not trying to be intentionally too negative :D But I think despite this really good win we need to keep our feet well and truly on the floor as fans. If we can string a few good results together then that is when I'll start to get excited.

Best football we have played all season today. Wes was absolutely sublime today. A masterclass in passing. And big Nelson has shown an eye for goal I didn't expect to see. The best thing today was the fight from front to back and the pace going forward. It's just a shame that AN had to refer to justified fan unhappiness over the last 11 games as a "witch hunt". It was very encouraging today, but it is one game. He needs to keep producing performances like this from the team before a lot of fans will re-evaluate him as a positive long term option. I hope he does it, but I remain sceptical.
