I would agree with that. Farke gave us entertaining football. Unfortunately, for Dean Smith, he has got some big shoes to fill. If this was the premiership I feel the fans would be accepting of the state of the club, and the way they are playing. However, we are in the Championship having just been relegated, we are going from bad to worse. I feel Stoke will be up for it on Saturday, Alex Neil will be aware of how bad our defence is, and looking to exploit that. At this moment in time I feel we are vulnerable to any team in this league. I am still hopeful that we will improve if we can keep the injuries to a minimum. I'm hopeful. If they sack Smith, I hope it won't cost them a fortune as was the case with Lambert. I still don't think it would solve anything.

Would I be right in thinking Smith signed a two year deal ? That would mean he would have a year to pay off although if the rest of his staff go which is pretty normal it would be a fair bit more.
