News from the press conference :-

Tettey needs op, will likely miss rest of season.

Naismith was fatigued after Leicester game, available for tomorrow

Robbie Brady and Gaz Oneill both available ( great news)

What happened about Brady's teeth? Did they find them and put them back in again or has he got false teeth now?

Huge game for both sides. A Swansea win and you would think they are pretty much safe after their result against Arsenal. This is the first game in a run of about 7 where we need to be picking up points if we want to stay up. A draw is the bare minimum really, and if we play how we did against Leicester/Chelsea then we could well get it, but our inability to take chances, combined with the fact that our luck just doesn't seem to be in at the moment doesn't bare particularly well.

Team:

Ruddy
Martin Klose Bassong
Pinto Howson O'Neil Brady
Redmond Jerome Hoolahan
Same team as the Chelsea game, but with Bassong in for Bennett, assuming that's he fit, and O'Neil in for the injured Tettey. I'd like to see us stick with the 3-4-3 formation as I think it's worked well for us in the last couple of games.

Gonna say 2-0 Swansea. We don't tend to do well in '6 pointers' away from home, and whilst we've played well recently we do undoubtedly lack quality, both up top and at the back.

Massive game today for both teams, we need the win to really give ourselves any chance of staying up, where as Swansea will know a win today could see them go 9 points clear of the bottom 3, yet if they lose today and they're dragged right back in to it

line up for me

Ruddy
Bennett Martin Klose
Pinto                                 Brady
Howson O'Neil
Redmond                      Naismith
Bamford
as much as I want wes to play every game, I don't think today is a great game for him to be in, we're likely to be on the back foot for long spells where as Wes needs plenty of the ball I just don't see us dominating possession enough today for him to be effective, Bassong may come in if fit likely for Bennett, also if Naismith isnt ready I'd go with Olsson at wing back and push Brady further forward, also surely Bamford has to start today, if he doesnt get a game today he never will

looks like we've gone back to 4-4-1-1

Is it weird I'd feel more comfortable with a back five of Ruddy, Whittaker, Bennett, Klose, Olsson.

Granted though the lineup we've picked should be better going forward and i guess we've got to go for the win now. Just the defence is possibly a bit scary!

Neil will come in for some stick if we do lose, for changing from a system where we looked pretty sound defensively (albeit we have lost both games) to what is a very clearly offensive line-up.

Do like the look of that front 4 though, it should certainly cause problems, only thing is whether they can actually take the chances when they come (or more accurately, whether Jerome can take the chances when they come).

Brady's had to go off because of injury, Martin now at left back with Bennett centre back, no Olsson on the bench frustratingly. Can't see this going well.

Both sides lacking quality at the moment it has to be said.

0-0 at half time, got to keep our focus and make sure we take any chances that come our way in the second half, looks a winnable game from this situation, keep it up, though I am a bit worried about Martin at LB
