Nathan Dyer, Thoughts

I don't know what to make of this rumour, there is no real source no national or even Welsh media,  just a cou[le of Swansea Fan sites. which claim that Dyer is attracting interest from City, Sunderland and Newcastle.    Which would not be a major surprise or take a lot of working out.  who would not be interested in adding him to their squads.  An experienced premiership player,  played 30 odd games alone last season.

But the rumour says he will find game time harder to come by with the new signings already added,  how they would now that  is a puzzler, surely that would depend some on form.

As much I would like to see him move up to Norfolk  I cannot help thinking there isn't much milage in it

Good player, but would probably see Norwich as a step down more likely to head up north

Would be a cracking signing. Don't think he has any French lineage so Newcastle probably don't want him and I think we'd have a reasonable shot of beating out Sunderland in a race for a player.

Would love to have him here. That said we need someone who can play on the left, as Redmond and Bennett are already good enough options to have on the right, can Dyer do that? I've only ever seen him play on the right.

Sounds a bit stale, but dated today...

Would prefer Brady, no doubting what a good player Dyer is though, and I'd be happy should we sign him. He hasn't even been in the match-day squad for Swansea's last 3 games apparently, so Swansea would probably be open to offers.

If I was in charge I'd be giving serious though about getting both, or at least another right winger to go with Brady. Seems to be a good guy but I can't really see Elliot Bennett ever pushing Redmond or any of our starters for a place in the team. Could argue that Bennett offers a little more versatility and could potentially cover at right back but I'm not really feeling that in the Premier League, presuming we sign a new fullback he'd probably be 4th or 5th choice there anyway. I hear Hughton is looking for a new winger at Brighton.
